Liam's expression hardened. "Death seems a kinder fate then."
They then entered a room that, while not dripping in luxury, offered a sense of simplicity and comfort. With a living area and an additional door, possibly leading to a bedroom or bathroom.
Elly, with a welcoming smile, gestured around. "Welcome to my room. Please, feel at home."
Liam walked over and settled himself onto the couch, reclining as he let out a weary sigh. "I thought you would bring me to some empty room."
Moving swiftly, Elly positioned herself behind Liam. "Certainly not. You can stay here, with me."
Feeling her gaze upon him, Liam tilted his head slightly. His voice carried a tone of weariness. "What do you want, Elly?"
Elly's hands moved skillfully, and before Liam could react, she began to massage his head, her fingers working through his hair and scalp with practiced ease.
"Just relax, Liam. This will help calm you down."
