Layla nodded, her voice dropping to a slightly lower, more contemplative tone. "She did mention her name. Selene, she said."
Liam's brow subtly arched upwards, a quiet contemplation flickering across his eyes.
'Selene, huh? She is quite quick. Wonder what she wants? She should be swamped managing the aftermath at the arena.'
Layla turned towards him. "You're familiar with her?"
He nodded slightly, "Yes, remember the announcer during my fight? That was her."
Layla's eyes narrowed thoughtfully, retracing the memories of that event. "Now that you mention it, they do resemble each other. But the aura they exude is so different."
As the pair descended the staircase and approached the sitting area, they found Selene seated. Her eyes sharply shifted toward them as they entered the area.
Liam probed, "So, what brings you here?"
Selene's eyes briefly looked towards Layla, then shifted back to Liam, "Can we speak privately?"
