The gentle morning light began to spill through the curtains, illuminating the room with a subtle glow. As the clock hands nudged their way forward, Derek pushed open the door. "Liam, you're still here?"
His gaze moves towards his sleeping sister, a mixture of relief and concern in his eyes. "Ooo she is still asleep. I'm thinking of heading back to our place to grab a few stuff. We could use some fresh clothes."
Liam rubbed his temples. "Sounds like a plan," he agreed, stretching to relieve the stiffness in his muscles. "While you're out, could you also grab us some breakfast? And… tell the hotel to fix the broken door."
Derek nodded. "Got it. What food you want?"
Liam responded, "Just the usual. Oh, and have them put everything on the hotel tab, including the door repairs."
Derek replied, "Alright, bro. I've got it covered."
