Zalya's footsteps echoed slightly in the dimly lit corridor as she approached Irys' assigned room.
The weight of the events in Duskdale Village still pressed heavily on her chest, and she hoped that conversing with Irys might alleviate some of the emotional burden. Standing before the ornate wooden door, she gave a few deliberate knocks, waiting in anticipation.
However, the corridor remained silent except for the distant sound of footsteps.
From behind, Alric's voice broke through the stillness, tinged with a note of amusement. "That door won't budge. She isn't inside."
Zalya turned, finding Alric leaning casually against the wall, an impish smile playing on his lips. "Where did she go then?"
Shrugging, Alric replied, "I spotted Liam heading her way earlier.Probably, they've sneaked off somewhere, for a date or something..."
