The impact sent them airborne, and the gruesome sound of bones cracking filled the air.
In any normal scenario, those injuries would've rendered them incapable of fighting, yet these soldiers seemed to defy natural law. They arise back, moving with persistence, despite joining and limb contorted at unnatural angles.
Seeing that crashing them wasn't enough to halt their advance, Irys made a split-second decision.
Her Warhammer vanished, replaced by her greatsword. With fluid, sweeping arcs, she sliced through them. Blood spurted drenched the ground, and organs tumbled out, leaving a trail of gory devastation.
But even this wasn't enough to stop them. What remained of their split bodies, now a gory mess continued to crawl relentlessly towards her.
