She followed Yvonne Young to the backyard.
Upon seeing the backyard door, Yvonne noted the numerous bricks and tiles piled up, along with some abandoned steel frames.
Indeed, no one could pass through.
Penny Wendelle's eyes flashed with cunning as she spoke, "It's already late. Why don't you and your nephew stay here for the night? My husband is here tonight too, and you can leave after the locksmith comes to unlock the door tomorrow."
She was old enough but still playing such childish tricks.
It really made her feel troubled.
Yvonne didn't want to stay; she wanted to leave with Yolanda immediately. Staying would only increase the risk of Yolanda's identity being exposed.
She decided to move the objects blocking the door.
With that thought, she started moving them.
"Aunt, I want to sleep. I'm so tired," Yolanda said, yawning as she ran over to hug Yvonne's leg, reclining her head on it.
Yvonne looked down at Yolanda, unable to bring herself to disturb her.
