She realized that the cloak had already fallen from her head, making her alert at the current situation as she immediately covered her head before standing up on her own, dismissing the man's head.
"You... Don't tell anyone." She glared, making the man who had black hair resemble the blackness of the night, similar to the colour of the horse she took, and its golden eyes that even the Royal Family can't have.
His golden eyes shined like the bright sun, glimmering with the light hues, creating the sparkle. It was deep and unexpressive, like how you could drown in an unconquerable ocean.
His jawline was sharp, his brows were thick and his nose was well-defined. He was a different kind of a man in this country, unlike what she sees normally in her surroundings.
He was built differently, taller and much broader than the men here. It's as if his beauty is unrivalled. Even Alexander and Constantine couldn't be compared with this man's standing.
"Are you done staring at me? If so, you owe me an apology." The man demanded with a voice that seemed to send an electrifying shock towards her body. Goddess, it was baritone and soothing her soul.
"Also, I don't know you. Why would I tell everyone about you? That's quite some paranoia from you." The man once again uttered, making Felicia frown upon his words. Did he just call her delusional?
All the things she said about how handsome this man was turned upside down. The rudeness of this man just makes his quality far from what she liked and she couldn't help herself but roll her eyes in frustration and disappointment. How rude!
"How rude of you. Why should I thank you when you were the one who bumped into me?" Felicia asked, her eyebrow cocks at him with an attitude. This man couldn't help but let out a chuckle rumbling out of him, almost making her heart flip if not for his arrogance.
"Please, it was you who didn't look in your way. I was not to be blamed. Shouldn't you be the rude one? I extended my hand to help you but what did you do? Dismissed it. To think the women in the capital are rude and even delusional." He said, letting out a scoff that made Felicia's head steam in frustration.
Okay, this man is not handsome! He's not handsome!
"Excuse me?!"
"You may pass. Abenaza." The man excused himself, passing through her and leaving her mouth wide open. That sick bastard! She turned her head and tried to look for the man whose arrogance was far higher than hers but he had already mixed within the crowds, making it impossible to look for him.
"What a waste of his beauty. To think that she thought of him as someone who strikes as beautiful, only to ruin it with his personality.
She sighed, suddenly the loss of enthusiasm had drained her because of that man and she decided to leave the place rather than stay. What else would she stay for when she already had bought things she liked?
However, that soon disappeared when she heard a loud scene, occupying the whole place that alerted her, making her turn her face towards where the scream came from.
Everyone started to run away from the scene while others tried to block her view. Knowing how dangerous the situation was, instead of running away, she tried to make her way through the crowds, only to see a child being used as a shield while holding out a bomb.
"EVERYONE! If you don't want this child to explode with me, give me your possessions!" He yelled in anger, waving the bomb while carrying the child like a damn sack. Everyone was conflicted and some just ran away, except for the mother of the child who cried and begged.
"I don't have money... Please... Just let my child off... Please..." The mother cried, and couldn't move from her position as it would endanger the child more.
"Bullshit! That's not true! That's not true! Give me your possessions!" He roared as the child wailed in fear, shouting for help yet no one was trying to help the two as the situation was already difficult.
"No one?! NO ONE?! THIS CHILD DIES WITH ME!" He yelled once again, pressing the bomb as the time began to speed up, earning a scream from the crowds. The knights have already been alerted by the sudden commotion yet like cowards they are, they stood there, forcing everyone to leave and sacrificing the child.
Felicia, who witnessed how incapable the knights were, gritted her teeth in anger as she ran towards the suicide bomber at a fast rate, shocking how the small figure just rushed into his position, drop-kicked him made him stumble and fall, alongside the child whom she managed to pick up and let go.
"RUN!" She screamed towards the child while grabbing the bomb in the man's hand, forcefully using her feet to choke the man, making him ungrip the bomb from his hand that she immediately took, threw it above the sky and ducked down.
Due to her rough training every day, she was able to throw the bomb at a high point towards the sky, where it exploded into pieces like a firework and created fire with the debris falling off.
The loud explosion made everyone duck together, in awe and frightened by how someone had the guts to save them from the ticking bomb. With the bomb being safe, Felicia was then reminded that she was currently stepping on the man who suddenly destroyed peace, causing her to look down and only to find out that the man had fallen unconscious.
She must have been stepping on him for quite some time so it ended up him not being able to breathe properly. She let out an awkward look, slowly standing up and removed her feet from the man's neck while contemplating whether the man died or not.
Suddenly, a loud cheer erupted from the crowds with everyone having fun and looking at her as if she had saved them from a disaster, cheering up for her and calling her their hero for saving them.
There were lots of praises from them, including the mother who was now hugging her child, crying as she sang Felicia her praises of how grateful she was for saving her only child, making Felicia smirk.
But then again, the crowds had figured out that their saviour was a redhead woman, whose face was not visible due to the cloak yet with her heroic deeds tonight, they didn't care about what she looked like.
Felicia was happy that she was able to help everyone from an almost tragedy that would have resulted in multiple deaths if not for her intervention. But her eyes didn't escape the man's amusement who stared at her from far away, looking at her with such amusement and pride before vanishing into the crowds that had come to praise her.
'What does that even mean?' she asked herself as she excused herself from the crowds and decided to run away from them, getting a bit too much affection from the common folks. It was heartwarming of course but that would just trigger someone if she were to reveal herself.
Besides, Alexander wouldn't be happy if he had learned how dangerous the situation was and for putting herself into that situation.
"You did great, saving them from trouble," Noctua said as she reached the hill where she had left her horse who was waiting for her while munching on the grass. It seemed that he was able to reach her and decided to stay with the horse.
"But at the same time, it was reckless and very bold. Do you find pleasure in risky things? Or is it one of your ways to release the steam from your heart? Whatever it is, it is extremely dangerous for you to intervene in that matter. You should have left it to the knights—"
"Bunch of cowards. If I didn't act then I would've lost the child and ended up with people dying before me. I can't just let those motherfuckers watch and sacrifice the child. What a bunch of freeloaders." She groaned, glaring at Noctua who then shut his mouth after her speech.
"Just... Just don't do it again, Felicia. I was really worried that you suddenly rushed into that man's place and kicked him in the gut. God damn, it's a damn bomb." He sighed, shaking his head while Felicia just chuckled in response to his worries.
"Let's just go home, they're safe anyway." She said as she mounted on top of the horse while it remained kneeling for her, stood up as she was now riding on top of it and started to walk gently, not running like earlier.
It really warmed her heart after people just praised her for her duty. It made her think that she was not a monster after all.

"Where have you been, your Grace?" An elegant butler asked as he opened the door from the balcony for the person whom he addressed with such regality. The person who entered the door smiled as he removed his cloak, revealing himself towards the butler while carefully tapping it to remove dust particles from what happened earlier.
"Tell me, are women here in the capital brave?" He asked, giving the cloak towards the butler as he went his way towards his room, sitting on the couch while staring at the butler with a smirk on his lips.
The woman he saw earlier was daring, bold and fearless. As if a mere bomb didn't make her scream in fear. She was an annoying and rude person too but he didn't mind. In fact, he was even liking her more.
"I beg your pardon, your Grace but the women here in the capital are reserved and elegant, unlike the women back in North Imperium." The butler answered while brewing him some teas that would help him get through the night.
"I see... Then that woman with fiery hair must be a foreigner. To think that she would risk herself for the child, how stunning for a woman." He chuckled and then thanked the butler for his cup of tea.
"Is it a woman with red hair then, Lord Alastair? Then it's common here in the capital. If the lady enchants you then just call me to find her for you." The butler suggests but the man whom the butler called Alastair shrugged his head in displeasure, not wanting for someone to disrupt the fun that he'll have soon.
"No need, Hampton. I'll be the one looking for that mysterious lady. Such a charming lady like herself deserves more." He added, his chest vibrating as he let out a chuckle, still in his thoughts of what he saw earlier.
The woman whose hair resembled fire, the rarest element in North Imperium.
