Chapter 83 - DREAM CONCLUSIONS

"How long has I been sleeping?" She asked, calming down herself after bursting into many emotions surging under her skin. The dreams, the consecutive dying of Felicia every damn time.

It's as if to tell her that there's no other option than dying here.

"It's actually time for dinner now, Mistress," Olivia answered, worried sick but at the same time relieved that she managed to wake up after that seemingly terrifying nightmare that she experienced.

"What did you do once again?" Noctua asked, looking at her with eyes telling Rachelle that he wasn't playing around, rather he was serious.

"I dreamt of dying once again. Every vision or every dream I get is all about dying. Tell me, Noctua. Why am I always dreaming of dying? It doesn't make any sense at all." She said, sighing while Olivia was wiping the streams of her sweat.

"Goddess, my Lady you are sweating so bad. I think you needed food and a bath. I shall fetch you your meal." Olivia said after she wiped Felicia's face and went out of the room, leaving the two with some privacy.

"Now what? She left." Noctua said, pointing out that Olivia left now so the two of them could talk about the dream. Rachelle looked at him, tired despite having a good rest.

"In my dream, it's exactly like this however the situation was similar. The me from that exactly came back from the sleep after training. I went to the kitchen, I felt the pain there and when I was done with my meal, I came back to my room and then I died because of an arrow. You were also there." She explained but in a short detail.

"Everything felt so damn real. I can still feel the pain in my heart as if it was stabbed by an arrow. It was though in my dream. I'm confused, why is it always me dying? Why does every dream that I have it always end with me dying at the end?" She asked, bringing her hands on her hair as she gripped her head.

"I'm on the verge of getting crazy here." She added, chuckling to herself.

"You said it happened just like this. So there's a high chance that it will happen." Noctua analysed as he began to flap his wings and then flew out of the balcony. He scanned the surroundings and there weren't any abnormalities happening outside, nor suspicious individuals trying to gate her room.

"But if there's a high chance that it will happen, then does that mean that the last two dreams I have, the dreams happened at some point in my life?" She asked, getting even more confused.

"I theorize that those dreams are somewhat happening. Like you said, it's a vision. Therefore there would be times when my visions would tell me about future events and even my possible death. " She said as Noctua came back after looking outside.

"Okay, there were no individuals roaming around the room. So it's safe to say that what you dreamt might not actually happen." Noctua answered as he rested his body on the bed in front of Felicia.

"And I don't think that your visions are what we call visions. I realised after hearing about every dream you have I somewhat can call it a vision but at the same time not. I'm having second thoughts about it." He said while staring at Felicia.

"Come to think of it, for the last few days, three of your visions were dead yet we can't even link it if it's from the same person. The first dream you have is that you killed yourself in the cathedral, the next one is that you got caught and ended up seeing someone getting killed for you or you might have died at that too, and the last one is that you are killed in your own room. It feels to me that it's as if those deaths occurred might not happen in this life."

"What? I don't understand." Felicia frowned. What he rambled about was confusing her. "Explain, because at this point I really didn't understand." She said, massaging her temples.

"What if... There's a timeline existing that shows your death. What if it's not really the first time that you died? Like reincarnating over and over again. Because if you think of it, you really can't connect these deaths that you've dreamt. So I'm assuming that... There's something deeper, much more deeper that I, myself too can't figure out." He assessed, giving her the thoughts in his head.

What he said shocked her, it could be also possible. But it's not enough to conclude his theory that this might be a multiple timeline. Because what if the next vision would be something else other than her continuous death cycle?

"You're right... But we can't really say that. If we wait for another vision, we could confirm your thoughts. It's hard to believe for now." She answered, leaning on the pillows behind her.

"It seems a bit very fictional considering that something like that is not proven yet." Noctua laughed and then sighed after noticing that her mood wasn't getting any better at all. She was still sunken, sullen and scared.

"Relax, you won't die. I promise that to you." Noctua eventually reached out to her, landing on her shoulder as he began to cheer her up by rubbing his head on her cheek in an attempt to comfort her.

"I guess... I mean, I just have to survive this hell." Felicia muttered, looking up at the ceiling. These whole dreams of hers are making her crazy, absent-minded and probably lost.

"Right. But let's be careful. I might be wrong about what I said earlier and your dream might actually happen today. All we have to do is stay alert." Noctua reminded her and at the same time, Felicia arrived with Alexander next to her, seemingly worried about her.

"Felicia... I heard what happened." He said, approaching her as Noctua immediately hid between the pile of pillows, shocked at Alexander's arrival. "Are you sick? Do you want me to call Helena for you? This is why I don't like you getting into weird hobbies such as swordsmanship." He sighed, sitting on the chair where Olivia was sitting earlier.

He then proceeded to grab the tray from Olivia's hand and place it on his lap as he began feeding her with what seemed to be a soup made for her, assuming that she really was sick.

"I'm not sick. I'm just feeling tired." Felicia answered, trying to block Alexander's view from discovering Noctua. Noctua is considered a taboo bird, if he were to get exposed then his life would be placed in danger.

They were really surprised at his arrival as he didn't announce such a thing. Even Olivia who got the questioning stare from Felicia just shrugged, didn't also expect that he would question her about Felicia not joining them for dinner.

"That's just the same thing. Don't put too much hassle in yourself. There are plenty of times so you don't have to try your hardest just to perfect everything." He said as he kept on feeding her.

The sincerest look that Alexander flashed upon his face made Rachelle's heart skip a beat instead of feeling annoyed. She was feeling glad, feeling love, and feeling that she wasn't lonely.

But at the same time, she doesn't want this feeling of being accepted or whatever it is called to grow further, she doesn't want to grow attached to this superficial love or this fake love. What if this is a trap laid by him?

She couldn't get over the fact that she was abandoned. Why would they start beginning to show her the love that she needed way back when she was alone?

"But I am not Felicia... I am Rachelle... Why am I speaking as if I am Felicia?" She thought to herself as she continued to get fed by Alexander. She's getting confused, this means that the path in front of her will continue to get even more rougher.

"What about the Duke? Did he eat with you?" She suddenly asked, shifting the topic towards the Duke that shocked Alexander. Felicia's new personality isn't the type to ask typical questions about the Duke but right now, she suddenly asked about his well-being.

Is this a sign of forgiveness?

"Well, he didn't join us as he said that he's not feeling well. But at least he said that he'll be eating in his office. It's actually quite weird because earlier too, during breakfast, he didn't join Helena." He informed, wiping her mouth.

"That's weird. He was fine days ago." Rachelle suddenly said, looking at Alexander who just shrugged, and treated it as if it was nothing harmful despite how suspicious it was by now. Who would be sick after visiting the holy Church?

What's even more weird is that the Duke and the Pope went together so it's making her feel suspicious. But wait, the feeling of Deja Vu suddenly crept into her skin, making her flinch at the sudden wave of a tremble.

This scene... The dream.

This conversation happened in the dining area but it's happening in the room. Therefore, there would probably be an assassin because if not, then that would solidify Noctua's theory about her dreams.

"Ah and by the way, I regret to inform you about this but we can't do anything about it." He sighed, catching Rachelle's attention after getting lost in her own world and trying to think about how likely it was going to happen, the dream.

"What is it?" She asked, curious.

"Supposedly, someone is to teach you about swords. Isn't that right?" He asked, making Felicia nodded her head at his question. He then sighed once again, having thoughts about whether to tell her or not.

"Well, that guy retrieved his request to teach you, therefore there is no one to teach you by now." He said, shocking Rachelle at the news that he gave. The what now?!
