A week has passed since then and Helena was reprimanded badly, causing her to have more things to deal with. The Duke had ordered her teachers to teach her to the extent that she would only be allowed a 5-minute break. She was even forced to study till she fell asleep.
She was also told that her budget must be cut for today's month and she won't be allowed to go outside of the manor without even the Duke's approval. Talk about how bad her ending is after lying.
Meanwhile, Alexander was under probation for two weeks and was never to go out of his room. Yet he was also given the time to learn more about swords but his lessons about it have tripled compared to his usual lectures and training about it.
The Duchess on the other hand was also punished but not severely. Her budget was cut off and she couldn't go outside of the manor for two weeks. Poor Madame who likes being in the centre of the crowd.
So much has happened that Felicia was the fortunate one who hasn't received any single thing of a punishment. Instead, her budget was even raised, a portion of what the Duke had instructed to cut their budgets instead of Felicia.
It's all because of the Young Marquis's statement that everything was cleared. Felicia had sent the letter after the night had passed and he eventually responded very fast, coming to the manor as soon as the letter was delivered to him.
As soon as he was able to testify against Helena and Alexander's scheme, Felicia personally noticed how the Duke's face grew darker while Alexander and Helena grew paler. Even the Grand Duchess didn't expect that the Young Marquis would testify for her.
"Never let them burn you to ashes, Young Lady." The Young Marquis Liam said before he left Felicia. If not for him, she would've stayed on probation while they celebrated their victory.
She had also summoned every fashion designer all over Elysium and bought their dresses that were already ready while ordering from the catalogue. The one that she took a liking for was a commoner's fashion designs which made her appoint the commoner named Yulie Rajeh as her main resource of dresses.
Everyone felt so jealous of the commoner for having Felicia's grace even though they thought to themselves that they deserve better than the commoner. But what they didn't know was that the commoner Felicia hired, became a Baroness in the future, amassing great wealth by designing modern and fresh dresses to wear.
Wouldn't that mean that if Felicia invested in her business, she would earn money for herself? What's even more ideal with the thought is that she would become the centre of attention, maybe in the socialite if she manages to brag about the dresses. That would be hitting two birds with one stone.
Next time, if she met her again, she would offer Yulie Rajeh a partnership that she would not be able to resist. A partnership that will make her gain more benefits if she invests in her business.
In that way, not only can she have a stash of funds that can't be claimed by the Duke or anyone from the family, but she will also become an instant millionaire. Just the thought of it makes Felicia's heart skip a beat, imagining that she's in the centre, taking everything for herself.
"What a lovely morning," Felicia muttered to herself as she explored the garden all by herself. Since no one is trying to ruin her day since that day, everything feels peaceful at some point.
Even the lowly maids try to get into her good side. It seems that they could feel a change of authority soon that they started to treat Felicia with more care. Even Olivia who was on their side started to treat her carefully, sticking like glue to her side.
One thing was on their mind and that one thing is that the young Lady has changed. She wouldn't let herself get bullied, trying to retort back without exerting too much strength.
"Hmm?" Something caught Felicia's attention. It was moving, yet she didn't know what it was. Her curiosity even grew more as she slowly approached the thing that she saw under the tree, carefully and on alert.
She used her parasol as a shield mechanism, wherein if it attacked her then she would block it using the parasol. As she walks closer, she gasps at the sight of a wounded bird, gasping for air as it was weakly asking for help.
Ensuring that it won't attack her, she rushed to its position and immediately put her parasol away. She then scooped the poor bird, checking it. His left wing was broken to the point that it cannot fly anymore.
"Oh my... Poor bird..." She said as she stood up and calmly picked up her parasol, walking back to her room. If she could look for any bondage, that would certainly help the bird. There are no existing veterinarians in this place, it was only doctors for human health.
"Don't worry, I will help you." She whispered to the bird as it cried because of how painful it was. She fastened up her pace, walking her way inside the manor.
Although she was huffing and puffing when she arrived at the emerald room, she immediately headed to her bed, putting the bird gently on the mattress as she looked for anything that could be wrapped on the bird's wing.
As she opened her drawers, she saw plenty of ribbons and she immediately grabbed the colour purple. There were no disinfectants that she could apply to the open wound of the bird, so instead she went to the bathroom, grabbed the basin and went back to her mattress to tend to the dying bard.
As soon as everything was completed, she immediately began to apply water on the open wound, just to clean the surface and avoid getting the wound infection. After that, she then slowly wrapped the ribbon she found in her dresser, making sure that it wasn't too tight or too loose for the bird.
Seeing that the bird was still crying, she began to panic. She really doesn't know how to ease the bird's pain. She can obviously tell that it was still hurting as it kept on crying.
Suddenly, her face leaned closer, kissing the bird's head. She didn't know why she did that as she kept on whispering words towards the bird, like singing a lullaby to it.
All of a sudden, a sudden light started to shine at the bird's wounded wing, the light was blinding yet it didn't envelop her whole room. She automatically closed her eyes, using her hands as a shield against the blinding light coming from the wound.
As soon as the light disappeared, she opened her eyes slowly, staring at the bird as the ribbon untangled from its now working wing. She gasped, in disbelief as she couldn't utter any words as she just stared at the bird, looking at her while flapping its wings.
"W-what just happened?!" She exclaimed in surprise, still couldn't believe what happened just now. The wound of the bird suddenly healed up on its own and it happened in front of her!
She looked at her room, there was no trace of Helena secretly peeking at her. She even checked the veranda and there was no one there. Her heart was pounding hard as she tried to search for the mysterious cause of the bird's wing and suddenly returned back to normal as if the wound never happened.
"WHAT ON EARTH WAS THAT?!" She exclaimed more loudly as she went back to the bed, gently held the bird's wing and tried to inspect if her eyes just pulled a prank on her. But no, what happened was real as she couldn't feel anything wrong with the bird.
Her eyes were wide open, eyes dilating and her mouth gaping in shock and horror. Everything seems too much to process and she ended up sitting on her mattress, still in awe and disbelief after the incident.
"Am I..."

"A new Saintess had appeared!" Someone shouted. Every priest that was having their own world suddenly looked at the man who barged inside, announcing something ridiculous that they find funny to believe.
"Pardon? A new Saintess? That's impossible. The Duke's second daughter is already proclaimed as the Saintess as she is able to control the power of the holy spirit!" The other priest said.
Some were frowning at the priest who interrupted their prayers, while others were flabbergasted with the news of a new Saintess just born within their nation. It's something that hasn't happened for thousands of years, the reason why they were shocked to hear the news.
"Then tell me, why is the statue of the Goddess Kartara crying? Believe me!" He said. "Come! See the statue of the Goddess and tell me why the Goddess is crying. Whenever the Goddess cries, it is a sign that a new holy person is born!" The priest even added.
Everyone who wanted to know if it was true, immediately stood up as they rushed over the statue of the Goddess, inside the biggest church known as the Holy Land of Elysium.
All the priests and bishops started to race their way towards the chapel and as they opened the gate of the church, they gasped at the sight of the statue, the Goddess was crying.
Everyone started to whisper, wondering who was the fated person that was blessed by the Goddess while some wondered what would happen now that there are two Saintess that appeared in the Elysium Empire.
"Bless Ye Goddess of Mercy! Praise the Goddess of Peace! Hallelujah!" They all shouted in unison as they bowed their heads to respect the Goddess, still in disbelief about what happened.
A new Saintess had been born and it's something that is worth spreading to the world!
On the other hand, someone has been staring at the statue of the goddess, her eyes were crying despite being a statue that all of the people in Elysium praised. He growled, and snarled at the statue, eyeing the people who praised the Goddess for her merciful act towards mankind.
"This can't be! No!" The person who was staring behind the gate thought to himself angrily, storming off from
the church with a dark complexion on his face. He won't let this happen! Not at all!
