Looking at the remaining Boss Points he had, Saber sighed heavily and pounded his head lightly to the ground.
Otuko turned her head up, crossing her arms as she glanced down at him. "I already told you to stop wasting your BPs after you managed to win a rejuvenating potion on your fifth try but you didn't listen... Serves you right, idiot."
Saber didn't want to waste his energy and didn't argue. He just accepted her "kind" insults with a close eyes, arms spread out like a T pose.
"Alright, sure it's my fault. I won't do it again...."
He will, in fact, do it again.
It was true that you can't overcome your addictions with words. Otuko knew this, so she stopped talking and decided to walk away in order to avoid seeing his face.
While this was happening, Saber noticed something shiny from his sideview. He turned his head towards it and saw his sword plunged in the stacking corpses of one of the angel. Specifically, it was plunged directly in the chest of the angel who uses magic.
"Mmm..."
Curious, Saber stood up and approached the angels. Otuko noticed him, tilting her head slightly looking confused. She was about to call out to him when she noticed something was up. His foot couldn't be seen as he walked, as if a dog has covering it.
Soon enough, Saber stopped his track and looked at his sword.
"This is..."
He placed his foot above the corpse, slowly pulling the sword out.
Shriiing...
Strangely, no blood gushed out of the gaping hole from the angel. It's body looked visibly empty, as if something had sucked all of its inside out including it's blood and intestines.
Though confused, Saber ignored those and focused on the glowing text written on the blade.
[Sword of Causality]

(Saber POV)
"Sword of Causality... Is this the true name of this sword?"
It was weird, but a cool-looking name... Not that I'm complaining.
"Mmm...?"
Glancing at the corpse of the angels for a quick second, I returned my attention back to the blade.
Now that I remember it, Eveline mentioned about it sucking the life force of it's user. But not once have I felt that my strength leaving... Wait, there is a one time.
Closing my eyes, I recalled about my fight with the [King Spider] back on the Second Floor. Back then, I felt all my strength drained when I was falling above as I held my sword. It was heavy, powerful, and yet, so frightening.
Was that the sword's real power?
How did I managed to use it anyway...? Was it out desperation?
Yes, I remember that I felt desperate back then... But that was it. It should be more than that.
"—ber!"
The faint voice coming from behind me snapped me out of my thoughts. I turned my head slightly to face it's direction, then saw Otuko dashing towards me.
Her expression... Was that it?
"—et go....!"
I couldn't really hear what she was trying to say to me, the ringing sound in my ears were much louder. However, I understood what she was trying to say.
She wanted me to let go of the sword. But unfortunately, I couldn't do it for some reason. It was as if it was attached on my whole arm.
"Ah, I remember now..."
About how I managed to use the power of the sword...
These sensation.
Her feelings, look and expression.
It was the same I had back then.
"Saber...!"

(Maximus POV)
"What does that dream mean?"
I didn't know why, but I had a weird dream about seeing myself partying up with Saber and Aria. Saber, Maximus and Aria... A trio? How could that even happen? It was suppose to be an impossible scenario.
The real Maximus I know was a bastard. A scum! There's no way he'll ever get along with the main character... Not in that dream, at least.
"He said that I should go back to the Avalon Kingdom..."
I was about to stand up when I felt that my knees suddenly gave in before I could. When I fell, my face hit the ground. My nose began to bleed due to the impact as I tried raising myself up.
"That hurt, damn it..."
I crawled back and slumped my back to the wall as I held my broken nose. Weirdly enough, I couldn't feel my legs. I remember that I took a break from training yesterday, so why do I feel tired?
...Wait, the Maximus from my dream. He beat the shit out of me and called it training. I remember that he aimed at my legs in order to keep me from escaping.
"Fuck you, Maximus... All of the bad luck that is happening to me is all because of you."
I swear to God, I'll head back to the Avalon Kingdom and find clues as to why am I really transmigrated here...
That woman, the being that pronounced herself as the 'Goddess of Light'... She's keeping some important secrets from me.
And I'm going to find that secret out myself even if it's the last thing I'll do.
