At the same night, a woman with beautiful woman with glossy black hair could be seen sitting on the fountain. Her eyes were as black as an obsidian, as she gazes on the flower field full of dandelion from the distance.
Behind her, the moonlight coming from the moon directly shined through her skin, further emphasizing her beauty. She was wearing a one-piece white dress as she sat alone, thinking to herself in silent.
Heavy sigh escaped fron her mouth as she felt an otherworldly presence entering the garden. With her eyes still intact on the beautiful field, the queen spoke with a calm tone.
"Who are you?"
Few seconds after she said that, she heard the person clapped. She slowly turned her head and looked over her shoulders as she saw a figure in dark attire walking straight to her direction.
And then, he spoke up.
"In the theater of shadows, a boy entwined,"
"Dancing within the palm, by strings defined."
"Marionette limbs, encased, a puppet's embrace,"
"A dance of control, an illusion of grace."
As he continued his poem, the man in dark placed his hands to his heart. Dark miasma appeared in each of his steps, killing the grass underneath his footing.
"Strings suspended, a delicate design,"
"Guided by hands, unseen, but malign."
"Twirling and pirouetting, a scripted ballet,"
"His every move, the puppeteer's play."
The Queen slowly tilted around to face him as he walk.
"The puppeteer's partner, a puppet in dress,"
"A duet of strings, an artful caress."
"Dressed in illusions, they dance on command,"
"A puppet's embrace, in a puppeteer's hand."
The man stopped few meters away from Loraine. He smiled politely, extending his hand towards her like a gentleman, but she refused and merely stared at it.
With a huff, he continued.
"A dance of shadows, a masterful art,"
"The boy, a puppet, each move a part."
"In the realm of strings, autonomy confined,"
"A symphony of control, a puppeteer's bind."
Finally, the man raised his head as they looked at each other eye to eye.
Loraine then scrutinized the appearance of the man. With pale white skin, violet eyes, and long purple hair wearing formal clothes similar to a duke-like outfit greeted her.
After a brief silence, the man opened his mouth to finish his poem.
"Illusions of freedom, in each graceful turn,"
"Yet, puppet and puppeteer forever yearn."
"A dance of submission, in shadows they wade,"
"Bound by the strings in the puppeteer's trade..."
The man heaved out a sigh as he waited for the queen to react. She, too, was silent for a quick second before speaking up.
"If I'm guessing correctly, you are the bastard leader of the new cult?"
Although the queen didn't bother taking his extended hand to help her get up, the man merely pulled it back and clapped with a delightful expression.
His face showed a grin mixed with amused and playfulness.
It was though he was satisfied by her rude comment.
"Bravo, bravo~!"
His tone was laced in playfulness as he let out a giggle.
"I feel honored to know that you know a lot about me, Your Majesty."
Annoyed, Loraine glared at him with eyes sharp as daggers. She knew that she wouldn't be able to contain herself if this continues, so she immediately went and asked directly straight to the point.
"Tell me where is my husband?"
Her threatening voice did not scared the man, as he remained still without flinching. With a light chuckle, he responded casually.
"He is where he should be."
Loraine felt her anger rose up within her heart, causing her to throw a kick directed to his face. Though her movements were quick as she broke the speed of sound, the man remained still as he stopped her with one hand.
"A lady should never raise her legs to a gentleman, let alone, kick someone while wearing a beautiful dress."
He's strong...
Loraine thought to herself with gritted teeth, propelling herself in the air and landing a couple of meters away.
"How can I deโ"
"Defeat me? You're a thousand years too early for that."
When she heard the voice of the man behind her, the queen shivers and prompted to lean forward, twist her upper body and use the back of her right hand to hit his face. Unfortunately for her, the man easily caught it again.
"You should calm down, Your Majesty. I'm not here to cause trouble."
Using his other hand, the man pulled her hips and pressed her body to him, swaying her elegantly like a dance.
"Just who are you...?"
His violet eyes peered through the queen's obsidian black, his lips curling into a kind smile.
"He, who seeks the seeker of truth, shall perish in the hands thy' FATE and the beginning." His tone sounding like a warning, eyes peering through every inch of her.
"Let me formally introduce myself..."
He gently pushed her away, taking a step back and caught her hand before bowing respectfully like a gentleman.
"Former Hero, Raul..."

Somewhere deep within the forest and mountains, three carriage with crest of sword and a cross were traveling that night.
Inside one of them, a full body armoured paladin was sitting alone with a woman wearing a veil that covers her whole face as they both looked outside the window, gazing through the trees as they both listened to the quiet nature.
"Are we getting near there yet...?" The woman in white veil questioned in a calm melodic voice, her attention never leaving outside.
The paladin turned his head towards her, answering, "We still have to cross few cities before we reach out destination." He spoke thoughtfully, "If my estimation is correct, we will soon reach it prior three days after the next Wave of Calamity."
"Around three weeks, huh..."
The woman's tone was laced in understanding, slowly turning her head towards her paladin and nodding gracefully.
"I hope we can reach it in time," she mumbled to herself, unknowingly saying it out loud, though barely audible.
"We shall, Bishop. There's no need to feel worry."
The bishop giggled upon realizing what she said. With a light head shake, she spoke with a calm gesture, "You're right, Val. I might just be overthinking things..."
"The Incarnation of Calamity must be CLEANSED."
