Chapter 47 - New Lie

After complaining for about thirty minutes, the man finally calmed down.

Taking a deep breath and exhaling, he stared at his palm quietly before clenching it tightly.

"I guess this is not a dream, huh... I really got transmigrated inside Maximus' body." The man turned his head to the window and looked outside.

"Did I made the author of novel angry to the point he decided to transmigrate me here after I uploaded the zero star review...? That's probably the most probable answer I can think off right now... Fuck!"

It was then...

«Mmm....» He heard a soft hum, causing him to turn quickly to look around.

"...Who did that?" The man asked himself, unsure if he was imagining things or if someone did hummed.

"That voice... It came from my head." Upon this realization, the voice from earlier finally spoke up after a brief silence.

«Indeed.»

Although surprised, the man managed to remain calm and assessed his situation. After reading hundreds of fantasy novels in his previous life, he had already expected something such as these events to happen after being summoned to another world.

«Person from the other world, I had chosen you to become a hero who shall guide everyone to the PARADISE.»

Confused, he tilted his head. He questioned, "PARADISE? The hell is that? I haven't reached that part of the novel yet... Care to give me an explaination, miss... Voice? Goddess, or... Dunno?"

The Goddess of Light let out a dissatisfied groan before giving a response. She answered his question slowly, giving him enough time to think, «PARADISE is the conclusion of everything. It shall only be opened if the heroes managed to reach the END, the conclusion after facing and overcoming the inevitable.»

"I see... So that's the end goal of that novel, huh..." The man nodded his head in understanding.

"Damn, I just realize that I got fucking spoiled."

«Chosen One, I had chosen you to become the guide... The PROPHET that shall be my key in order to open the gate to the conclusion of this story.»

"Yeah, yeah... I heard yah." The man used his pinky finger to clean his right ear, his eyes rolling to the side.

«....»

The Goddess was silent for a moment. It was the first time she got disrespected like this after three hundred years.

Although she wanted to make lightning rain down to the man, she couldn't because of the given laws of the world, where no gods can DIRECTLY interfere with the progression.

Because if they try, they are bound to get punished.

Or worse...

The great «Reset» shall happen.

"Anyways... What's the catch? I know that there should be one since, like every other light novels I've read, the summoner of the heroes will always request for they blah blah blah... Do blah blah blah... and blah blah blah."

The man said with an exaggerating tone, causing the goddess to go silent again to calm her nerves.

After a couple of moments, she spoke and answered his question.

«I want you to defeat the chosen 'Incarnation of Calamity'... Do not worry, human. For I, the Goddess of Light, shall grant you a gift that can oppose his power.»

As soon as he heard this, a blue panel popped out in his vision.

Before he could begin to read the other ability he got, a loud knock came outside the door, abruptly stopping him from continuing.

Although he was annoyed, he calmed himself down to open the door.

"Great Hero, you must leave this castle now!" An elf woman, who was one of Maximus companion, said in panic.

"Why?"

Confused, the man tilted his head to the side.

"The Hero Knight, Eveline, from the Rose Kingdom had decided to invade the castle to find you! She's already inside the castle with her knights fighting the others."

"...What the fuck?" He couldn't help but curse out loud upon hearing what she said. He didn't know why one of the important figures from the novel would try to invade since it was never mentioned in the novel.

"...Is this meant to happen in the future?" Was the only answer he could come up with.

"Tell me the details quickly!"

"Y-yes!"

When he grabbed her shoulders and shook her, the elf panicked for a second before recovering. She spoke, "After the death of Saber, the hero—!!?"

"He died!!?" His grip unconsciously tightened. He couldn't believe his ears. The one and only protagonist of the novel suddenly... died?

"How...!?" He asked.

"We don't know the real details, but... The hero keep mentioning that YOU killed him."

"The fuck!!?" He immediately let go of her and grabbed his own hair, pulling it hard as he cursed at Maximus.

"This fucking guy killed my favorite character!!?"

After few seconds of cursing, the man finally calmed himself down after remember his current situation. He turned his attention back to the elf, his expression becoming serious.

Taking a deep breath, he said to her, "Order my men to stop the hero from coming here for three minutes. I'll figure something out to escape while also removing my tracks."

"Yes, hero!" The elf immediately went back to inform the others about his order.

Slamming the door behind him, the man tried to ask the goddess about his current situation. However, no answer came out from her.

"I see... I guess I have to figure this out myself, huh."

As he scanned the room for materials, he noticed a half-empty bottle of rubbing alcohol sitting on the dresser. Perfect, he thought. He also spotted few of something that looks to be an unused makeup remover pads and some cotton swabs.

"...Is Maximus gay or something? Nevermind!"

Without much thought, he poured some of the alcohol into a glass, then began disassembling one of the makeup remover pads, carefully adding bits of the cotton into the alcohol.

With the makeshift concoction ready, he grabbed a cotton swab, dipped it into the liquid, and held it over a lit candle. At first, nothing happened. He was impatient, though, and he moved the swab closer to the flame.

"This should work..."

He went over to the window and closed it. It was then, he finally saw the liquid ignited, producing a vivid blue flame that danced wildly, casting eerie shadows on the walls of his room.

As the seconds ticked by, his expression became serious as the weird trickling smell entered his nostril.

"Methanol..."

This should spread the flame quickly, he thought. Immediately, he placed the sheet of the bed to the floor and placed everything inside it before covering them. Soon, he splashed some of the content of the bottle full of methanol to the blanket and opened the window.

The man glanced at the blanket and saw that it was slowly burning up as the invisible flame spread out.

"Gotta go!"

He hopped down the window as soon as the door busted open.

"Maximus!"

Note: Peroxides and hydroperoxides is normally dangerous when mixed together. But as long as heat, friction, impact, or exposure to any other chemical that can initiate it...

BAAAAM-!!!

...It won't explode.

*****

On the God's Realm.

A bright light, who had a figure of a woman, stared at the man in the mirror before her, seemingly amused by his sudden changes.

"Creating a Methanol and explosive chemicals out of scatch, huh... Humans never fail to amuse me."

By covering the explosive chemicals with a blanket that was also covered in Methanol. With the help of the blanket, the invisible fire will easily spread out more since it is made out of cotton.

After making them explode together, the whole room will be fully inflamed with an invisible fire that is hard to put out even by magic.

With this, they'll have a hard time following him since their main focus will be diverted to on how they'll extinguish the invisible flame covering their bodies.

'Even with magic, it is always hard to fight the invisible.'

Chuckling, the goddess placed two of her delicate fingers below her lips. She said gently, "Now then, a liar matching up with another liar... Between these two, who do you think will win?"

The man who was living in it?

Or the man who was embodying in it?

After staring at the mirror for a couple of seconds, the goddess finally turned her attention away. Her gaze landing on a certain mirror around the countless of mirrors surrounding her.

It was fairly the same size as the others, nothing too special on some sort but...

"It's your fault for denying my love~"

Staring at the man on the other side of the mirror with a child, who had a halo above her head, sitting on his lap, while he was happily teasing a girl, a wide smile spread out on the Goddess's face.

"I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU...."

As she mumbles this sentence continuously as if it was a mantra, her red eyes turned crescent, along side with her mouth as she began to salivate.

"Why are you still denying my love~?"

Her hands touched the mirror, caressing the part of his face as her crescent-shaped eyes became more sharper.

"I hate you... But, at the same time, I love you~!"

Announcing this, she took the mirror while it was floating in mid-air and hugged it tightly, burying it on her voluptuous chest.

"I don't care about anything else... Those people, from your world or from the other's, and gods can all disappear!"

"As long as you're with me, I don't care about anything else... But, of course, you can't cheat on me with other woman! You already have me, after all~"

Suddenly, the goddess panted heavily, as if she had run into a marathon, and bit her lower lips as her body shivers up.

"We are fated... I made sure of it!" She said to herself, laughing maniacally like a mentally ill child.

"Darling, I'll make sure that I'll be your one and only... Even if I have to use any means."

In truth, she was the main reason why Junior's life became messed up in the novel. Even long before he was born, the Goddess knew that she wanted to make him her's... and her's alone.

To her, it didn't matter what method she needed to use. As long as she succeed on making him her's, even to the point where she willingly tries to break his mentality by taking all of his companions and making them fall for the others, nothing matters.

Because, in the end, he was bound to accept it.

He was bound to ACCEPT her LOVE — suffering from it.... To the point until he reaches his breaking point and experience her inevitable feelings of...

LOVE.

"Kufufufu..."

She lifted the mirror above her head and looked at Saber, who was showing a bright smile while lifting the little girl up in the air as he spin.

"After your physical body is dead, I'll make sure to keep your soul with me forever~"

The goddess let out a soft moan, her mouth opening widely as she do so. She said to him, "Nnn~ you're so evil! It's your fault for forcing me to do this, darling! You chose this yourself... You always denied me, and how much my love for you!"

Her crescent grin became much more wider, sinister and creepier...

It took about a few seconds before she finally continue.

"Soon, we'll be together... Forever and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever..... End ever....~"

Licking her lips, the goddess began to lower her other hand until it reaches a certain part of her... It was then, she began to play with herself.

"Nnn~!!"

Moaning, she spoke with her tongue out while looking at his reflection.

"I won't let you escape again~"
