Amaris enjoyed watching Cale being beaten by his own brother. This was how embarrassing moments were avenged. She looked at Dante sitting next to her. Despite his expressionless face, she saw the corners of his eyes crinkling slightly and knew he was enjoying it too.
"Why don't you ask anything?" she suddenly asked, and Dante looked at her blankly.
"What do you mean?"
"Don't play dumb!" Amaris rolled her eyes. "I'm sure Raven showed you everything. I don't understand why you stay away from him even though you've seen everything."
"He didn't show me anything," Dante said, and Amaris paused.
"What did you say? Wait, he didn't show you?" she asked with a frown. "What's that idiot thinking?" she scowled as she looked at Cale to see him slumped back to the ground after blocking one of Newt's attacks.
"I'm the one who asked him not to show it."
"So you were the idiot," Dante frowned when she looked at him.
