When Cale and Perez came out of the dungeon, it was Jeremy who greeted them. Jeremy's eyes nearly popped out of his head when he saw the sword in Cale's hand that he had last seen years ago.
When Jeremy had barely recovered from his surprise, he led the way. "Follow me, please."
With Jeremy leading the way, the three of them came to Bernard's room. Jeremy took a seat behind Bernard's armchair while the other two sat in the double armchair opposite him.
"Here," Cale said, placing the sword in his hand on the table in front of them. "The Ghost Sword."
Bernard was surprised, not expecting to receive the only relic he had left of his brother after his death all these years later.
