Hope dodged Felix as he lunged toward her, quickly passed him and went to the dagger she had dropped.
"What?"
She threw the dagger at Brendon and it spun through the air and struck Brendon in the forehead.
Brendon fell to his knees, staring up at her, his eyes wide open. Hope looked at the dying Brendon and Felix, who looked surprised.
"Even if I die, I'm taking you bastards with me!"
Felix started laughing as he moved towards Brendon's body. Hope was startled by his laughter as Felix pulled out the dagger embedded in Brendon's head. He turned to Hope as blood dripped from the tip of the dagger, which came out with a disgusting sound.
"I'll kill you with your own dagger."
"I'm sure you will, asshole," Hope said as she kicked the ground and attacked Felix.
