Cale and Alice ran through the bushes towards the sound. When they got to the source of the sound, they saw a man standing over a dead rhino many times their size. He was covered in blood and looked miserable. But Cale knew that this blood was from the island. He knew in his heart that it didn't belong to him.
As the man swung his axe sword, splattering blood all over the ground, he turned to Cale and Alice as if he had just noticed them. But there was no curiosity on his face. His black eyes were empty as if bored.
"Aqua?"
Cale unconsciously mumbled the man's name.
"Human, do you know this man?" he glanced at Alice, who asked in a whisper. But he did not give her an answer.
Of course, he knew the man standing in front of him. Aqua was the one he had used in the monster wave before he was trapped in the dungeon, and Cale wanted this man by his side, so he sought a way to break his loyalty to the Union.
