Above the snowy plain, uncountable numbers of monsters were still emerging from the dungeons. The Union had not taken enough precautions, believing that because the dungeon level was low, high-ranking hunters could easily suppress the wave of monsters.
Now they were suffering for it. Even the most skilled hunters were at a disadvantage of being outnumbered in an endless war.
"When will support from the Union arrive?"
Aqua swung her axe sword again, destroying a dozen monsters. Even this man, the so-called Lone Whale, a so-called war-mad man, was beginning to think that he might perish in this wave of monsters.
"Vera has no intention of asking for reinforcements," Colin grumbled as he swung the fire spell for a mass attack.
"What do you mean she has no intention of asking for help?"
Aqua looked angrily at his friend. He didn't believe they could fight the monsters any longer, whose numbers were increasing instead of decreasing.
