In the dark room, an extremely handsome man, shirtless, sat cross-legged on the floor. Golden mana rippled around the figure, creating a holy image. As his muscles tensed, the veins in his body became clear.
"Fuuuuuuu..."
When he had been practicing for an hour, he exhaled a long breath and opened his eyes to reveal two blue eyes shining like crystal.
Damien stood up and dried his sweat-soaked body with a towel from the table. He turned around and looked at his reflection in the mirror.
He could see that the wounds from a few hours ago were slowly healing. Damien threw the towel on the bed and looked at the notification on his phone.
[Student rank 2, Damien Heart - Mission Target: Frank Freeman, Python City Minister of Defense. Accused of corruption, smuggling and embezzlement. Mission Status: Completed. / Congratulations you completed in first succession].
He smiled when he read the end of the notification. He was glad to have finished in first place. At first he was demoralized that his ranking had dropped to two, but now he was relieved that he had beaten Dante Hatt, who was in first place, in everything.
"I thought I was in a really bad situation..."
On the evening of the day of the mission notification, he went and did it immediately. Two days later, there were still some who had not finished their tasks, but most of the first in line had already done so.
He went into the bathroom to take a shower before leaving the room to eat.

"Are you going downstairs?"
Sylvie came out of her room and saw two girls walking quietly side by side. The perfect beauty of the two girls was even more emphasized by the lighting.
Amy's shoulder-length blonde hair shone like gold. Her sea blue eyes were as cold as ever. Veronica had a very sweet face with short brown hair and forest green eyes. Both girls' flawless white skin glowed in the light.
Sylvie's aqua green hair waved behind her as she ran to catch up with them.
"Why didn't you wait for me?"
Veronica answered Sylvie out of the corner of her eye.
"You already made it."
"What kind of nonsense is this!" she glared at her and Veronica shrugged.
When Sylvie saw Damien coming out of his room, she called out to him.
"Are you going down for dinner too?"
"Yes, why don't you join us," Sylvie said and Damien smiled and nodded. Damien looked at Amy and asked.
"Where's Elliot?"
"He's downstairs waiting for us."
"Okay then, let's not keep him waiting any longer," Damien said and the four of them went downstairs.
They took their food and went to the table where Elliot was waiting for them and settled down. They laughed and chatted with each other and ate their food with no worries. They decided to go to the common area and spend their free time there like everyone else. But something caught everyone's attention.
The man who came through the door was familiar. Most people knew him as a freak. A man of no value in anyone's eyes.
Although this man was dressed in black, red blood, the same color as his hair, was visible all over his body. People shuddered at his cold face and the traces of blood on his face. He was breathing heavily with every step he took and the blood from his right arm stained the white floor.
No one asked what had happened to him. Everyone knew he had been injured in the line of duty. Since missions were assigned according to each person's rank, the fact that Cale, who was in the last ranks, had received such an injury on such a simple mission was ridiculed after he left.
No one realized it, but what happened tonight would only be the starting point of events that would shake the whole world.

Three hours ago
Cale had been in this world for a year and a half. He thought he was used to it. Humans are adaptable creatures, after all, but the idea of getting used to the idea of causing a death bothered him.
In a few hours he would end a life and leave as if nothing had happened. The person he was going to kill was not a good person. He had done a lot of bad things. Still, he couldn't get used to the idea of killing someone.
Many students had already completed their mission on the first day. Some were injured, others almost died. The good ones finished the mission without a scratch. And thankfully no one had died during the mission.
Cale could have finished on the first day too, but there was no point in bringing unnecessary attention to himself. Besides, he had given himself time to deal with the thought. It hadn't been easy. For two years he thought he had seen all kinds of shit. He had killed countless monsters, but this was the first time he was going to kill one.
He picked up his phone and tapped the last notification.
[Time to End Mission: 0D: 12H: 47M: 54S]
It was difficult.
It was going to be hard.
But he had to get used to it.
Death was going to be a part of his life now. So he could not show weakness.
After taking the last sip of his coffee to relax, he left the café. Since he had made all the preparations before leaving the hotel, all he had to do was to go to his duty station.
8:17 p.m.
Standing on top of a building, Cale cleared his mind and used the Limitless Void skill. With his senses heightened, he could see his target, who was in a building many kilometers away from him.
The man sitting in his office was his target.
Dimitri Mikelov, Minister of Finance of Python City
Dimitri was a criminal who made tons of money by not reporting his mana reserves to the League and employing the people he kidnapped in them.
Normally, every mana reserve found in a dungeon is reported to the League. If it was in a region belonging to one of the elite families, they would take care of it. But if it was in neutral territory, it was put up for sale and sold to the highest bidder.
Dimitri, on the other hand, built a barrier so that no one would find this mana reserve in the neutral zone and kidnapped people from the slums and made them work like slaves. If the kidnapper had a family, he threatened to kill them and intimidated them.
Cale was going to kill such a man. He didn't even need to go to where the man was. He focused his mind and focused on the man looking out the window with the glass in his hand.
When he focused on Dimitri's body, he felt his heart. He could feel the heart beating normally in the palm of his hand. With his power, Cale loosened the heart when it needed to clench and clenched it when it needed to loosen.
When Dimitri's heart worked in the opposite way to how it was supposed to, his blood vessels burst, causing a heart attack. Cale could see the goblet in Dimitri's hand fall to the floor and shatter, and Dimitri collapsed, pressing against his chest.
With Dimitri dying in seconds, Cale checked the air around him some more. Even though he was kilometers away, he felt like he was with her because his senses were heightened.
When he checked his body, he took a deep breath as the heart stopped beating.
"I killed him," he murmured in an emotionless voice. Everything was real now.
Cale was shaken by a new realization. Although he had been in this world for two years, he had accepted the reality of this world for the first time, even though he had almost died that day.
After this realization, he felt as if cold water had been thrown over his body. His panicked mind calmed down and regained his composure.
Accepting what he was not aware of made him feel better. He had finished the mission and his problems were over for now.
While Cale was at the top of the building, he used Limitless Void, and as his skill with the ability increased, he used the evolving void steps to move down the building.
He walked through the alleys and out onto the street. As Cale walked down the sidewalk, he frowned at the strangeness he felt and looked around.
He heightened his senses and listened. There was no one on the empty street. Cale looked at the buildings. The lights on the buildings were dim, as if no one lived on this street.
When the street lamps flickered and made scratchy noises, a gust of wind came up and blew Cale's hair up. In the blink of an eye, he felt uneasy as five robed figures appeared in front of him.
The one standing at the front, who he guessed was their leader, took a step forward. Through the hood covering his face, Cale could see only his lips.
When the straight lips curved into a smile, Cale heard the man's name.
"Cale", his voice full of mirth, the man lifted his head and showed his face. "My dear friend, I finally found you!"
A cold sweat broke out on Cale's back as the dull gray eyes of the man with a large scar on the right side of his face looked at him brutally.
'Now I'm in trouble!'
