Inside the room, which, unlike everywhere else in the state-of-the-art academy, had a simple and classical layout, Diane Reinhart was calmly turning the pages of a book. It was an old classic. A book published before the world was filled with monsters.
As she sat on the window seat reading the book, she closed the cover and put it on her nightstand when the doorbell rang. When Roy, her assistant, entered, Diane looked at him with calm eyes.
"The news is worse than we expected," he said quietly as Diane looked at him to continue. "People continue to protest outside the Union building. There are also reports on the internet that the Union is helping and covering up the kidnapping of people for chaos experiments. They want the explosion in Zeroch City to be investigated and prosecuted in the Supreme Court because it was actually caused by chaos experiments."
