"Oh yeah?" Miles scratched his head in confusion. "I think he said he would be given a report on the situation outside," he muttered. "All right, follow me. I'll take you to him."
Miles led the way, followed by Cale and the others. As they made their way down the white corridor, they came to a door. Miles swiped the card hanging around his neck into the screen on the door and it opened.
As they entered a large room, Cale saw a girl standing blindfolded in a large tube in the center of the room. Her midnight blue hair was disheveled in the water. She had a scar on the left side of her face, running from her forehead to below her eye, and her left arm was missing.
"Isn't she beautiful?" Miles sighed, looking at the girl in the water. "She's the only one who made progress in the experiments," he said, looking Cale in the eye.
"I'm glad you've made progress, Professor," Cale said, and Miles grinned.
