"What are these, anyway?"
Cale squinted as he looked at the strange creatures roaming around the lab. Some of them were mutated animals, others were monsters from the dungeon explosions.
"Oh, these?" Reyna said as she held out her hand and a cephalopod monster approached her hand and rubbed its snout against her palm. "You know I have monster sensitivity. These are the monsters I started training."
Cale looked at the four monsters in the room. Two were mutated animals. One was an eagle and the other a cat. One of the monsters that escaped from the dungeon had a cephalopod, while the other was a strange beast with a hump and claws.
"It's only been a day and you can already control four of them?"
Cale stared in amazement at the monsters calmly circling around him. The more Reyna paid attention to them, the more they seemed to be acting like little puppies.
