"Huh, they're on their way," Perez said, pointing to the departing car. "Aren't we going to stop them?"
"If we stop them now, we won't know exactly where their lab is in Python City. Besides, we'd have to deal them a good blow, right?"
Amaris and Perez agreed with the sly grin on Cale's face. Together, the three of them began to follow the vehicle before it got too far away from them.
Amaris was flying with her magic and helping Perez at the same time, while Cale used his void steps.
Once they were out of the city and off the main road, they drove down a deserted road where no one was anymore. After a few hours, the vehicle entered the boundaries of Python City.
But it did not stop. As they crossed from a cold region into the desert, the trio began to feel the heat.
"It's too hot," Perez said as he wiped the sweat from his forehead, his face flushed red.
