Monsters filled the space, increasing and decreasing under the refractions of light. This space, where the ground was water and the ground and sky merged, belonged entirely to these monsters. True to their name, these monsters roamed around like ghosts.
For the unprepared, attacking them directly or not attacking them in the right way would have led to death. Thankfully, Cale had the weapon he needed to defeat them.
He did the same thing he did when he spotted the mirage creatures. As Chaos unleashed its energy, the lighted area slowly began to darken, blocking the sun's rays and leaving it dark.
The chaos energy was already reaching the monsters as it moved swiftly across the ground, taking the darkness with it. The mirage creatures formed by the refractions of light disappeared with the coming darkness, leaving only the boss monster, its guardian, and the non-fake creatures.
