The next day, Cale set out early in the morning to solve the real problem that was making the townspeople sick. He used the monster energy he had extracted from the patients as a guide. Perez followed beside him, watching Cale follow the black orb in front of him.
"Can you really find them this way?"
Ever since Cale arrived, Perez had marveled at the turn of events. He had cured a hopeless disease and given hope to the townspeople.
"This energy from the patients is our guide to find the source of the monster energy. It was not the whole town, but certain individuals. And it is not contagious. If it was contagious, you would have been infected when you went to the patients. That means they put their monster energy into certain things."
