Standing outside the Union building with his hand in the pocket of his black jacket, Raven continued to observe the building from his bench. Everything was unfamiliar to him, as the memories that came after he had sucked Cale's soul still hadn't fully settled in.
At the top of the steep tower, where two columns rose around each other, was a sphere. This tower, a combination of glass and metal, was one of the most spectacular buildings in the city of Armageddon.
The president of the Union was still Markus Suzak. Unlike in the past, Cale was dead, so in this world, Markus' son Dan and Oliver, who had slit Cale's throat, were still alive.
"I have to finish them off too," he muttered.
He took the last sip of coffee, crumpled the cardboard cup in his hand, and stood up. After throwing the crumpled cardboard cup into the trash can, he walked towards the Union building.
