The once majestic palace was now a ruin. The power used by Demon King Samael was so destructive that a large area around it had been affected and destroyed. Even though the chaos beast that attacked them was destroyed, chaos beasts still attacked in many places in the demon realm.
Demon King Samael, real name Aren, had used what was left of the strength he had used to protect his people for so many years to destroy this monster. He sat with his back against the fallen pillar, blood pouring from his mouth.
His eyes, desperate and helpless, watched as his people were destroyed. As the screams rose to the sky, he saw someone kneeling in front of him. His blurry eyes barely focused as he looked up to see that it was Lucifer.
"Asher," he called him quietly by his real name, and Lucifer's eyes were bloodshot as he stared at him.
"Your Majesty!"
