There was a very tense atmosphere at Cale's facility outside the human land. Everyone there was stunned when Hope brought Amy with her without explanation. Everyone there knew that Amy was Cale's sister.
They knew that, but they also knew that Amy hated Cale. They had not witnessed it themselves. Only Cale had briefly mentioned it and then refused to be asked anything else. No one had forced her to talk about something he didn't want to talk about.
It was bad enough that Cale had been left for dead by his mother and sister. But here was Amy, sitting across from them, saying she wanted to help Cale.
"So what you're saying is that you want to provide us with the information we need?"
Amy nodded when Reyna narrowed her eyes skeptically.
"Why should we trust you?" Reyna asked aggressively, and the atmosphere suddenly turned cold.
"Reyna-" Fredrich said, trying to calm Reyna down by telling her that they should listen to Amy, but Reyna shushed him.
