Rex and Kushina distanced themselves from the One-Horned Wolf, which was now seriously injured and bleeding from all parts of its body.
One surely can't underestimate the tenacity of beasts. If it were a human, he or she would have long died from the numerous attacks that the One-Horned Wolf had suffered.
The One-Horned Wolf, now panting with exhaustion, glared at us with bloodshot eyes. If eyes could kill, then the rage burning within the beast's eyes would have long turned us to ashes.
Now, even though the beast knew that its chances of escape were close to none, there was not a shred of fear in its eyes.
Instead, the beast manipulated all the Force reserves inside its body and concentrated them on its horn for one last, devastating attack.
Unfortunately for the One-Horned Wolf, perhaps because of its injuries, the time to prepare that black beam attack was much longer than it anticipated.
