Ai Yu looked around and made her way towards the van, ready to step inside. And Xiao Yiheng suddenly appeared, slightly out of breath. He looked at her affectionately and handed her a cup of cold coffee.
"Yiheng," Ai Yu said with concern, "the shop was quite far from here. Why did you go all the way there and where's yours?"
Without saying a word, he gently grabbed her hand and guided her into the van.
"Stop questioning so much," he said .
"Ye Lan, can I have the window seat, please?" Ai Yu asked .
. "Oh, but I get motion sickness, sorry Ai Yu,
" Ye Lan replied.
"No, no, it's okay,"
Ai Yu assured him, her tone still dramatic. Lin Siyu called out to Ai Yu,
" Come here, Xi Fei just went to the other van." Ai Yu walked over and plugged in her headphones, her eyes briefly catching a glimpse of Xiao Yiheng sitting two seats ahead on the opposite side. Yiheng looked back and asked if she was comfortable .
Lin Siyu noticed their eye contact and playfully punched Ai Yu's arm, mimicking how Xiao Yiheng had surprised her with her favorite cold coffee out of nowhere.
"Ai Yu, I got you the coffee you like. Do you enjoy it?" Lin Siyu said, bursting into laughter.
The sun had finally set, casting a warm golden glow across the campsite. Aiyu and her friends had reached their destination and eagerly began unpacking their belongings. Aiyu, who had a deep affection for camping, was the first to set up her tent.
"Wow, Aiyu, you're really something,"
Lin Siyu exclaimed, glancing at Aiyu's perfectly pitched tent.
"We're still struggling here, and you're already done setting up."
