Chapter 33 - Lu xi feng's study !

In a sudden realization, she exclaimed, "Oh!" and hurriedly dashed ahead. There, in the distance, stood an imposing door, towering nearly 20 feet tall in the corridor-like space. Beside it, a tiny door, barely an inch shorter than Aiyu's 5'3 height, caught her attention. Curiosity consumed her as she wondered where this mysterious corridor would lead.

However, she shook off her musings and retraced her steps towards Lu Xi Feng's room. It was a sight to behold. The room spoke volumes about its owner's taste and sensibilities. Lu Xi Feng gracefully removed his blazer, allowing it to swirl elegantly in the air before landing on a nearby couch . His movements were deliberate as he scanned the room .

He moved towards an elegant almeera, a wooden cupboard that seemed to hold some secret treasure. His brows furrowed as his gaze scanned its contents, searching for something specific. Aiyu watched silently, wondering what he could be looking for. She cautiously stepped closer to Lu Xi Feng, her eyes fixed on his restless movements.

Not finding what he sought, Lu Xi Feng moved to another cupboard, this time meticulously inspecting its shelves. Aiyu's curiosity burned brighter. What could be so important that Lu Xi Feng was searching for it with such urgency?

The room remained silent, save for the sound of Lu Xi Feng's movements. Aiyu stood by, observing his every action.

"He is truly peculiar," she murmured, as she gracefully traversed the room, her eyes tracing the intricate details of the beautifully crafted artwork. The study, reminiscent of Lu Xi Feng's own, beckoned her closer.

With a gentle stroke, her fingers caressed the spines of the books on the shelves, each adorned with luxurious hardcovers. A tinge of envy washed over her, for these were treasures she could never possess. Though undeniably exquisite, the contents of these books did not align with her own interests, primarily delving into matters of state affairs.

Glancing back at Xi Feng, who remained engrossed in his search, a wave of weariness swept over her. "I long for the comforts of home. This place is dreadfully dull, and this man, utterly enigmatic," she pondered.
