Chapter 1 - The Adventures of Mikaela Reed Chapter 1 : The beginning

Hi, I'm Mikaela and this is my life as the daughter of world's most famous spy.Okay, second most famous spy Agent 008 .I grew up in a crazy household. To start off we never stayed in a single place cause dad was always moving around and we followed seeing as it wasn't safe for us because of all of dads enemies and I hated it but mum didn't seem to care cause she loved dad no matter what he did. Once when I was four we had career day and we had to come to school with our parents and make a presentation on what they did though mum was a housewife dad's was harder To start of he arrived late in black most probably after some heist and had drops of blood on him , I pulled him outside and told him that why would he come without cleaning up .and he just shrugged it off and said we should just lie to everyone that he was a doctor coming back from a 10 hour surgery needless to say my class of kindergardners where too freaked out to even listen to our lie. So consequently we were kicked out, I guess she taught dad was some kind of serial killer or something, so.we had to move and this time we moved to Texas .

As time went on I became more and more fascinated with becoming a spy and one day during summer break when I was about thirteen dad got a call from his boss and had to go and retrieve a stolen pink diamond from some Mafia bosses party in Beverly hills at his multi million dollar mansion and I was determined to go. So at night I packed my favorite blue dress and some other essentials and boots and hopped into the back of dads car as we started leaving I realized that our house was a long way from the airport. As soon as we got to the airport i jumped out of the car and dad yelled " what are you doing here?" and to which I replied "I wanted to come along". he had no other option than to agree with me so he just bought me a ticket on the spot and took me to Beverly hills with him. So we got to Beverly hills in the morning and by that time mum was already worried sick but dad assured her that I was safe with him later that day dad told me that if I was going to help at the party. So by ten 'O click at night I got dressed in my blue dress and I and dad went to the party.

We got there at about Eleven 'O clock and OMG it was a mansion and I'm not talking about all those fake oversized apartments this was a practical castle. It could compare to Buckingham Palace. Before walking in dad told me that we had to blend in with the crowd and my job was to distract the owner of the mansion and the head Mafia boss Mr. Cheng just long enough for him to retrieve the pink diamond and I was stoked for the challenge when we walked in dad left to find the diamond and I was left to distract him. Now I was thinking how I could distract him, cause I was so excited that I didn't think of a plan well now it was too late and I had just spotted Mr. Cheng and walked to him deciding to make up as I go. So I walked up to him and luckily he didn't care where parents where since I was a thirteen your old girl and I told him good evening and complimented his home and kept complimenting him and he seemed pleased; what a sucker anyways when I knew I had him wrapped around my pinky finger I asked him where did he get all the money to buy all these things and he replied by saying "curiosity killed the cat" and to which I responded "and satisfaction brought it back" and then I said "it seems everybody forgets that part" but our conversation was cut short when I saw dad at the other side of the room I told Mr.Cheng that it was a lovely party but I had to take my leave with that I walked over to dad and zoomed off in the car in the car I saw a bag on the dashboard and when I asked him what was in it he told me to check my self and so I did and you wouldn't believe what I found it was the most beautiful pink diamond I had ever seen technically the only pink diamond I had ever seen but it still counts I could tell why Mr Cheng wanted it so bad. So we had to go all the way to Vegas to drop off the diamond at dads headquarters but before that we stopped at a mall to get some new clothes cause I only brought my blue dress so I used that opportunity to go on a shopping spree and honey Beverly hills clothes and malls are so bougie so after we stopped at the hotel to get something to eat and to take a shower after that we got on the road to Vegas and I was so excited it was a long ride and we stopped for food multiple times hey a girl's gotta eat.

So we finally got to Vegas and boy was it loud and bright while I wanted to do some sightseeing dad enforced the fact that we were only here to drop of the pink diamond such a buzz kill. So we got to the headquarters and I had to stay in the car close children weren't allowed in it so I just stayed in the car praying for something eventful of even just a little bit exciting to happen but it never did and 2HOURS LATER dad came out of the office. Such a good time keeper right
