Alessie walked angrily to her mom's workplace. While working, she cried letting the tears flow freely from her eyes as she played 'not today'
As she entered the restaurant, she saw her mom attending to the customers and she called her attention.
Her mom smiled on seeing her and signaled to her to wait. After a while, her mom came with a tray of apple pie and strawberry milkshake . Im mediately, she stopped redoing the makeup and smiled.
" wow. is this for free or what "

Alessie said jokingly, her mouth watering as she looked at the delicious food in front of her. Her mom hit her on the head.
" ouch mom. that hurts "
" eat up silly. I know you want it so badly. "
Her mom said laughing. Alessie immediately pushed down the delicious cold creamy milkshake that she had wanted since the beginning of the school year.

Alessie said winning at her as she ate the pie. Her mom also took a bite of it as she studied her expression.
" so, did anything good happen today? "
She asked starting a conversation. Alessie scoffed eating the pie.
" if anything at all, it's the opposite. '

" oh mom, you wouldn't believe it. You know Lawrence "

Her mom asked attentively. Alessie nodded.

Her mom asked signalling to a waitress to take the tray away.

Alessie said clenching her fists. Her mom held her

Her mom said patting her on the back. Alessie breathed in and out and sighed.

She said and went to take her things.. Alessie sighed.
