"It is powerful, it has the same amount of mana as the Lich. Could you summon the same thing to fight it?" Makoy suggested.
"I can but you are all peak S-class as well. Why are you scared of someone that was on the same level as you? Instead of letting me summon someone, it's much better if you fought it all together. Experience is the best teacher after all. One day, you will probably reach the point where you become strong enough to handle that thing even if you are alone. Go forth and punish....."
Suddenly an incoming spell approaches us while I'm in the middle of my speech.
--Light Barrier--
A barrier made of Light manifested, the incoming spell hit the Barrier and explode. Leaving a wide moke screen in the surroundings.
"That Lich didn't even allow me to finish my words."
Suddenly a huge sword struck at my barrier and it made a crack. I didn't notice the sprit coming our direction at all.
I feel like the smoke screen has the ability to conceal mana.
"The barrier is cracking." Christine worriedly said.
"Don't worry, I didn't put a lot of mana into it since we will be on offense soon. Everyone prepare yourself, if someone died, call my attention immediately, understood? " I look at everyone who was looking at me with faces that couldn't be paint.
They didn't trust themselves that they could fight evenly with the spirit but in my opinion, they only lack experience. If they fought this kind of enemy, they will surely learn how to properly use their powers.
"I will cancel the barrier in 3"
I prepared a spell at my magic staff while counting.

Everyone prepared them selves and hold their weapons tightly.

I cancelled the barrier and immediately unlease my spell.
--Inferno--
A burst of flames shot forward burning anyone who was behind inside the smoke screen.
I descended the others slowly to the ground and when they reach it I immediately unlease a follow up spell.
--Tornado--
A huge tornado manifested and sucked up all the smoke screen as well as the fire creating a flaming tornado that wreak devastation to its path.
After the smoke screen vanish I immediately cancel the magic, what has been revealed to us is the Giant Spirit Gnome holding his shield and protecting the Lich behind him.
--Gigantification--
Suddenly Ferdinand activated his skill and transform into his giant form. Rivaling Gnome in size.
"Yeahh, we have giant on our side as well." Makoy shouted and light started to cover his entire body.
"Take down the Lich as fast as you could Archie. We don't know if we can win against this spirit." David reminded me.
"Oh, just a reminder, Gnome is a spirit of earth, it definitely could use earth magic. You better broaden your imagination, if you want to beat someone like him." I said and immediately flew away from them and head towards the back of the spirit where the Lich is hiding.
"Hi Lich, how's your day?" I inquired but the Lich didn't reply to me but instead his eyes glows and his mage robe flattered.
He levitated as well just like me, and he begun waving his skeleton hand full of rings in it and cast a spell in a unknown language.
Suddenly a magic circle appear in front of him and a huge dark hand manifested and headed towards me.
--Piercing Light--
A beam of light flash out from my magic staff, erasing the dark magic that is heading towards me and proceeded to the Lich.
The Lich avoiding it but I added homing effects to the Light and it chases the Lich until it hits him.
The Lich suddenly lose balance and I immediately cast another spell at him. I don't want to miss the openings after all.
--Inferno--
Flames erupted to my magic staff and burned the Lich but suddenly the Lich created a wind barrier for himself and redirected my flames somewhere else.
The Lich chant another spell in unknown language and wave his hand. Suddenly a huge tree manifested behind my back and roots after roots chases after me who was avoiding it.
--Shining Light, Inferno = Disintegration--
I merge the two spells at one, and I immediately activated it. A huge magic circle appear and an extremely hot light emerges from it, disintegrating the tree complete within a second.
Another spell has been unleash by the Lich, I didn't notice what it was because I turned my back at him, but my necklace of protection activated all of a sudden and a barrier has been activated. Protecting me the sudden magic attack.
Upon seeing me unharmed, the Lich doesn't look like happy at all.
"Let me show you something."
I manipulated my mana and begun activating my magic.
--Frost Tree--
A huge blue ice tree grow exponentially behind the Liches back, and he immediately notice it's presence so he decided to take a look.
He then chant and imitate my magic as well, he combined both Light and Fire magic to try and burn down my spell, but unfortunately, my tree magic is much more high quality than his magic.
I manipulated the tree bark and created a concave shape from it. Suddenly the light reflected back at the Lich, catching him off guard from his magic.
Good thing I study reflections before. I know that there was an experiment that was performed before about using ice as a magnifying glass and create a fire out of it. I applied the same principle here hoping that it would do the same to the Lich as well.
"That's what you get from copying my techniques." I said to the Lich who was busy manipulating mana to create water and put the fire out.
I immediately controlled the Ice tree and lock the Lich as its target.
Suddenly the ice leaves of the Ice tree fall of and chases after the Lich in high speed.
The Lich wrapped himself in a dark energy and every leaves that hits his barrier vanish to who knows where.
--Shining Light--
I unlease a spell again and a magic circle appeared at the top of the Lich cocoon. When it was about to release light, suddenly a hand made of earth cover top.
The Light hits the the earth hand. Protecting the Lich from my Light magic. Which annoys me.
How dare that earth spirit interfere on my fight?
I immediately cancelled the Ice Tree and it turns into particles of light before vanishing.
I flew to where the the earth golem was, and I saw it defending itself from everyone's attacks. It is very clear that he is losing, his earth magic never hit any of his opponents because of Ferdinand always interrupting it. He probably only succeeded in protecting the Lich and casting a skill at him because Ferdinand is not there.
I immediately gathered my mana on my staff when suddenly a barrage of magic flew at my direction.
My automatic barrier immediately activated, defending me from the Lich attacks.
I ignored the Lich attacks and lock my attention to the earth spirit who interfere in our fight.
--Permafrost--
A huge Ice magic encase Gnome entire head. Making it panic and lose balance.
I look at the Lich who was about to help the spirit but I bombarded it with magic one after another.
The Lich decided to defend itself from my attacks instead of helping the spirit.
David, Ferdinand, Christine, and Makoy also take the opportunity and unleash their most deadly skills towards to spirit.
Making it fall to the ground with a loud thug.
The Lich is still busy defending it self from my magic barrage so I decided to increase the power of my spells and increase its penetration capabilities as well.
The barrier that the Lich use for himself crack, and it didn't took too long before I finally manage to destroy it.
I also notice that the mana of the Spirit behind my back is dissipating at a rapid rate. Even without looking I know that it's already dead. Leaving the Lich alone on the battle field.
The Lich slowly descended on the ground and I follow suit as well. David and the others immediately follow behind my back.
"The Lich has been weaken already and we also manage to kill its spirit guardian." Christine said.
"I did make a great comeback there. I really thought that I'll be done for because it has a sword." Ferdinand added.
"You only manage to do well because the three of us continued to attack it non-stop." Makoy said.
"Archie, we are having a good fight with the earth spirit, why did you intervene?" David asks.
"Sorry, about it. The earth spirit intervene in my fight and protected the Lich. It pisses me off so I did teach it a lesson." I replied.
All of us are focusing in the Lich while conversing. No one make a move. Both sides are reading each other.
When the Lich feels like it couldn't win against us, it took out a huge gem in his pocket dimension.
The feeling of what's inside immediately alerted me.
"Everyone get that gem at all cost and prevent the Lich from using it."
