The child moon walked back into level 11, he didn't know what to do or where to go in the meantime of waiting out the countdown to the entrance exam. He put on the hood over his head as he began walking around the city, the first exit he felt was one that lead down to the sewage system, so it was a thing he was going to avoid. It smelled, and he didn't want to become part of the waste hanging down there. But then he saw empty fields and a road going off into the distance, towards level 9. That was when his cigarette ran out and with a single thought, he made so it automatically vanished when it had nothing more to give.
The moment it vanished the aftermath acquired, keeping him in a calm state, but his mind was able to think rapidly, it was like an acceleration of the mind.
"And here i thought i was going deeper...hah" He smiled while looking over at the blue sky, he began walking on the road, he smiled at the last word of his sentence.
After a few minutes of slow walking he finally reached the outline of the infinite city, but this didn't make the physics work in his head. If something is infinite, does it start and continue, or does it exist while actually not being real? That was a confusing way to describe it to himself, he wasn't sure where he was going with it, but he didn't care much. Instead he kept his smile as he slowly made his way on the road towards level 9, he didn't had any business there. He just wanted to use up his time to enjoy himself. And so he walked, and walked...
After a while in the middle of the transition he witnessed an airport, his feeling of reality disturbance has been already numbed as he didn't need it when he knew where he was going... But this was the saddest part, when there is nothing left to know, or to acquire... What do We become?
He walked through the front door of the airport and found himself in level 36, he was greeted by empty halls with lights coming from the large window walls, random polyester boxes here and there, the faint sound of voices talking amongst, and finally the screen that displayed what planes are available and how long it will take for departure. Flight 855 was on the list too, but there was a problem, it was six hours away from now and he didn't want to just stay here and do nothing.
But still he didn't know where else to go, so his decision was to stay and just hang around until it is time for him to take the flight, but he knew what was happening up there, it was going to be day, such boring unchanging trip. He was thinking of adding a new flight just for fun, a generic plane with actual limits, just so it can show the comfort it can provide.
It sounded like a great idea, a cozy plane at night, the silence... "Ah, beautiful!" He complimented the thought while smiling happily at himself, and so instead of waiting, there was a glitch in the system as he began altering the reality of the level.
Once the system boot back up instead of the six hour wait for Flight 855 it was a ten minute wait for Flight 999 a day night cycle was added to level 36 just so people could look out to the lights of the city in the distance, and the light path of the planes as they come in and out. He breath in calmly and inhaled the fresh night air before sitting back and relaxing on one of the many metal seats in the airport.
He knew the limitations of the unlimited flight of level 36.1, such little time, when he has to wait two weeks and a few days to get it, but it all seemed meaningless to wait in silence, when he didn't had any need in particular. Any other goal to strive to... Then he remembered his goal of finding a name... a name?
He didn't care now that he has changed so much, when there are more important questions for him to answer.
He knew he had too much power and knowledge which drained the pleasure of life, the battle against the unknown, but then creation... His creations are the cure for his own sickness of misguidance.
He smiled in the face of absolute nothingness and created something from it, momentary peace until boredom catches up. And before he knew it, his private jet was already ready to set foot on the clouds.
It was called upon the speaker system, and so he boarded on this new mysterious plane, while some people rushed towards him and tried to stop him, even though he knew what his creations were. He walked through the airside and stepped foot into the plane. The door closed and the plane slowly began moving, picking up speed in the meantime, before finally setting off, the plane was empty as he intended, he didn't wish to make it overcrowded like it's brother sublevel 36.1
He smiled to himself slowly walking throughout it, before going to the first class section of the plane. A section for the lucky people to enjoy, it was still empty, no one to serve drinks food, but there is a surprise for anyone who dares step in the pilot room. He walked through the door and saw that the plane was driving itself, there were no pilots, no staff, no passengers, only the people who were lucky to set foot in this beautiful piece of art, the feeling, perhaps this was made to provoke the feeling of calmness, the engines vibrating gently and the flight going smoothly.
When one is ready to leave. "Get back down from the clouds... As the saying goes." He chuckled to himself before going back to the first class section and sitting back comfortably in one of the shiny seats. "Now, we just wait..." He said quietly, exhaling air as he relaxed himself on the seat. It took him a few hours before intrusive thoughts began to creep around his mind, so without hesitation when he felt the unease feeling, he pulled out the box and lit up another cigar, the thoughts faded away underneath the clouds as he felt the same peaceful sensation. It weren't the cigarettes that were addictive, but the effect that they had on the mind... "This won't become a habit." He said to himself as he reached up and jumped, before noclipping through the ceiling of the plane and glitching a chair attached to the plane, so he doesn't fly down into the clouds. He closed his eyes as the air was drying them pretty quick and it annoyed him, and allowed the air to circulate around him, before being left behind. The feeling was surreal and the nicest part. He didn't need to do anything except allow the plane to fly. And so... he looked down seeing many levels below the clouds as if they are all on the same plane of existence, before looking back up but this time, he placed glasses that would protect his eyes from the air... And so the big waiting begins.
