After a while of walking in the dark, following after the hound's steps he felt a sudden paranoid feeling which told him to brace himself for something. Remembering the fight that broke between him and that creature. He knew he was undefeatable, but where was the fun in that, he wanted to create chaos on his own. As the hound stopped and began grawling as if there was something.
As the silence enveloped the locating, they were able to hear faint and slow steps which seemed to be nearing them.
As it got closer and closer he could feel his heart beating faster, even though he knew he can make it become docile. Being able feel the thrill of survival was divine.
The hound stepped aside slowly, making sure to not make a noise as he followed after it and put his back onto the wall as he waited for it to pass them.
As he heard it's steps go from one ear to another, He suddenly felt the animalistic urge to pin it down and kill it. But he wasn't going to do it, he had a moral stroke.
After the foot steps slowly faded away, he began moving away, even though he was itching for a fight, for some action. As they navigated through the darkness of the level. He could hear the faint sound of waves.
It was something he felt emotionally tempting, or like he has been used to that sound all this time. A phenomenal for him alone to bear. As he listened in a focused more on the sound echoing through the invisible halls. He began moving slowly but surely toward the sound. As his mind turned off and his instincts moved him toward the sound.
After a bit of walking he felt the ground beneath him vanish as he fell forward, just to be met by a set of stairs which seemed to continue further down. He was rolling down the stairs as the sound grew louder, until...
He fell into the cold waters of the entrance room in level 7. He could hear the waters of the ocean moving outside that door.
He began making his way through the water which made his movements heavier. But he pushed until he touched the handle and pushed it down, as that happened, he fell through the door and the gravitational pull forced him into the waters.
As his body sunk deeper, he could see a pair of blue eyes staring at him, They were somewhat piercing, but not close enough to his empty stare. Through his muffled vision, he could make the image of a humanoid in his head, with some aquatic animal features. After a second or so, the figure that stared at him, suddenly began swimming quickly toward him as it prepared to stab him with what seemed to be a spear.
The sudden rush of adrenaline was nice, as his body began to quickly move in preparation to dodge or grab onto the spear to prevent his death...
Of what seemed like seconds the thing made its way almost to where he was with. As it's spear was an inch away he noclipped his hand through the water to avoid being held back. And grabbed onto the spear as a smile appeared onto his face. That fighting for survival... It was SUBLIME.
The creature saw his smile, and tried to strike him with its claws for legs. With the shoes he had on, he quickly put it in the way stopping it from piercing him.
"Interesting..." The creature said admiring the fighting spirit the child had. But cut off short as, the child fought back, putting his hand on its center and pushing it away from him. "..." The creature stared into him, while he was slowly rising up, but his intention to kill was no longer present, even if the child was itching for a battle.
After a lot more of nothingness, he could feel the power the child had which made him passive towards him.
"I could tell that you are not a human... Then what are you? Why are you here?" The thing asked as it lowered it's spear.
The first question was where he had a stroke, he didn't know. Though he agreed with the gentleman on level 5 that he was... Something that exists. He himself wasn't sure what exactly he was. He pointed up toward the surface of the water, before going up. As he emerged from the water and calmly moved his limbs to keep himself above water, the thing emerged beside him ready to hear him out.
"I am something... someone... Simply exploring my own home..." The child said as the adrenaline went slightly down, but it was still present. The wish for a battle was annoying as inside he knew he found a sparring partner. He would be able to return to the level at will. His knowledge was expanding with every level passed.
"..." The thing though over his answer. He wasn't sure why the kid was referring to this level his home, but by what an interviewer asked him once, about the thing on level 7. He could tell that there was more to it. "What are you referring to?" The thing said.
At that question, the kid turned his smile upside down before slimming toward it slightly. "Everything..." His face wasn't a serious one, he was referring to the entire backrooms. Thought he knew that level 999 was his mother level.
This confused the creature even more, but at least it was more talkative with him. At that time the kid suddenly let go of using his power, because they were having a civil conversation, but wished to fight him some more. The thrill was sublime.
As the entity felt that the effect was gone, it didn't try to strike him, but instead just swam there and thought over how grand the answer it was given, is.
After a minute or so, the entity simply swam away, it needed sometime to think. And with that the kid was left alone in the cold waters, by now his body got used to it, so it wasn't much of a problem.
He sunk down as he began swimming down, letting go of some air so he wasn't pushed upwards.
After a few minutes of sinking down, he reached the peak of an underwater mountain. He slid down from it as he felt the water beside him move, it wasn't his movements that caused. He quickly moved above, as he saw a pair of sharp teeth rushing toward him, in attempt to bite him. As he saw that, he quickly made his body noclip through the water as his shoes began to slide quickly down the mountain, this gave him enough speed to avoid this attack.
That thing was massive, he looked up and saw through the dim light how huge that creature was.
After a few seconds of sliding, he hit the ground hard as he was in the entrance of a cave. He ran in it as if there was no water, and just like that...
He appeared in level 8. There was the sound of echoing water drops, steps that weren't his own...
Through the darkness of the level he could make up the shapes of the cave, thought not as dark as level 6, It was still hard to see anything.
He began slowly walking, wandering around the cave system, until he bumped into something, which threw itself toward him as it appeared into vision. It swung at him in attempt to harm him, As he sensed the battle that was brewing, He smiled like a maniac, and quickly noclipped through it to move again before, kicking it behind the head with the bottom of his shoe. As the hit landed there it let out a shriek, which began attracting even more entities, hounds, smilers, other camo crawlers, death rats, even clumps. At the sight of the upcoming horde, he let out a laugh as he bashed the first one into the ground, before smiling maniacally. As a hound quickly rushed out of the crowd to try and bite him, he dodged and grabbed it by the back of its neck, before pulling it by its hair.
He began spinning it around him while it attempted to fight back, But got thrown away into the horde. He was completely insane to take all of them on, but he sure enjoyed the fight, there was a mix of attacks which he dodged or noclipped before bare handedly fighting or pushing them away. After a fierce battle which continued for a hour, because the more he hurt them, the more was attracted. He could have stopped this pain if he simply made them passive toward him, but then it would be just plain ol' exploration. As the battle was set down, he looked upon the corpses, it wasn't beautiful... It gave him a sad feeling and knowing he had done this damage made it even worse... They were innocent, but the world was survival. Kill or be killed. Only through peace will this rule be ignored. As he sat down on his knees, he remembered the crate that spawned at level 1. He wondered, could he revive them with the same technique. And so snapped his finger as the corpses quickly vanished, and randomly respawned around the level lively as they were before the battle. The sad feeling... It didn't exist in the first place.
Letting the thought of death pass through, he found it quite normal. As if it is just natural for something go die, just because there is a battle.
He found it somewhat beautiful. Everything, bad? good? it was all beautiful.
As the adrenaline settled down he felt his head quite empty of sort, he simply began walking around. Yes, he was satisfied by the thrill, but now... He was lost
