"Camryn!" Bethy called walking towards Camryn "deliver a box of condom and two packs of tissues to room 304" Bethy ordered, she was the instructor to the employed concierge at Blue moon hotel
"Sure" Camryn replied with a nod
"By the way you look great" Bethy complimented while smiling
"Thanks, you don't look bad either" Camryn said as she packed up the required item, when she got to room 304, she knocked at the door and it was opened quickly "hello! here is your..." Camryn was stunned in silence, the man in front of her was none other than her boyfriend Darren, he was dressed in a white robe with a towel in his hand which he used in drying his curly wet hair, the scents of shower gel and shampoo assaulted her nose "Darren? wha... what are you doing here?" Camryn asked stuttering as she starred at him in disbelief still feeling dazed.
"What are you doing here?" Darren asked, his heart skipped a bit, he took a small step back into the room, his mind went blank and then started to spin
"Baby what's wrong?" another girl walked up to the door, wearing a robe and slippers, and Camryn immediately recognized her, she was Zoey Morgan, her course mate
"You? what are you doing in a hotel room with my boyfriend?" Camryn asked with anger roaring up inside of her, she couldn't believe what she was seeing. After a brief burst of panic, Darren managed to bring back a bit of control since his girlfriend has already discovered his betrayal, there's no point in trying to hide it now, she looked directly at him
"Camryn we need to break up!" Darren said, his word hit Camryn like a sword in her heart, her eyes widened in surprise
"Break up?" she asked starring at Darren with wide eyes "Darren we've been together for more than a year and half month, you want to break up with me now"? Camryn asked in shock
"Yes! we need to go our separate ways" Darren said, he kept steady eye contact with her and spoke with a strong sense of resentment "are you surprised? you are poor and wretched Camryn, you can barely afford to eat three square meal a day not to talk of a healthy food, you don't have anything nice, as long as I'm with you people would always laugh at me and what about my family? I can't even present you to them as my girlfriend because of how poor you look all the time, I've spent a lot of money on you but yet nothing good to show for it, you look all skinny and malnourished, you don't even have blonde boobs and nice curves and that's not the kind of girl I want, I tried to change you but I'm fed up, I was with you all this while cause I had pity on you, I was thinking who would take you in if I left you all by yourself but now that you've known, I think we should break up, I can't put up with you anymore, Zoey is my girlfriend now, from now on I have nothing to do with you, don't bother me again" Darren said harshly, his word pierced through her heart, shattering her world into pieces, tears ran down her cheeks and she wiped them with the back of her hand and smiled
"Is that it? is that what you want?" Camryn asked keeping eye contact with him, as she smiled faintly, she didn't want to appear vulnerable but she couldn't help it
"Of course that's what he wants and I advice you don't bother him again cause his mine now, you loser" Zoey said grabbed the box of condom and tissues from her and slammed the door against Camryn who stood still as if the world was spinning around her, she felt totally defeated, she fell down to the floor and hugged her knees tightly as she cried her heart out. It was a cold evening and it was raining heavily, she ran out of the hotel into the rain, Bethy who witnessed what just happened tried to stop her but Camryn didn't bulge and ran into the middle of the rain, she stood still under the rain that drenched her clothes from her hair to her toes to help calm her nerves, Darren had discarded her because he believed she had no money, she didn't know that he was such a materialistic man, she couldn't believe he was with her because he felt pity on her while she actually loved and fell for his tricks, but now that she knew, it's something to rejoice over so why should she be sad, she sadly laughed out loud as tears rolled down her face mixed with the rain, her phone beeped in her pocket, she took it out and glanced at it as she walked through the rain, but when she saw the number she stopped walking, her entire body was shaking when she saw the text
"After a review the Ambrose family, has decided that their daughter Camryn has met the condition required for entitlement to her inheritance, from today onward control of her property would be returned to her". Camryn breathed a sigh of relief as her mind begin to spin, not for this message, she would have almost forgotten her identity as a super rich kid over the last eight years, her family has been accessing her, withholding her fortune until they were satisfied she met their conditions and now it was over, everything that rightfully belonged to her was finally her's to claim.
Camryn woke up the next morning, flagged down a cab and drove through the city, in a great mood, she got out of the cab and went straight to First Republic Bank, right in the heart of the wealthiest part of the central business district of United Kingdom which was known as UK, in hearten, lots of luxury cars were parked around the bank, people walking in and out of the closet were all rich, it was obvious from the clothing and domino. she strolled to the door of the bank and pushed it open
"Ouch!!" a feminine voice cried out, the main door can be opened both inward and outward, and Camryn had been a little careless when she pushed it open from the outside, as a result the door had bumped into a long haired young woman who's been heading out of the building, Camryn quickly apologized
"Sorry, I didn't see you!" She quickly apologized
"What do you mean you didn't see me? what am I, invincible or a ghost"? she asked angrily and held her hand to her forehead and glared at her, the bank assisting manager, Joseph Mathews, he had noticed the incident and hurried over, he checked on the woman first who was the victim and then Camryn in disapproval, when his gaze swept over her, a trace of suspicion appeared on his face, First Republic Bank was different from most banks, as the clen tell were almost exclusively high in business people, Joseph knew the young woman was there with her father but he didn't know why Camryn was there, judging from her appearance and age, he wasn't their usual type of customer, she appeared too poor and haggard to own a bank account in UK not to mention having one with First Republic Bank
"Ma'am can I be of an assistant?" Joseph asked with a polite but forced smile, Camryn simply said not minding his gaze at her
"I'm here to withdraw money"
"Withdraw money?" the solon woman asked sneering at her
"Do you have a card?" Joseph asked, continuing to smile politely, getting an exclusive First Republic Bank cards was not easy, a million dollars of savings was the minimum requirements to qualify, Joseph felt certain that the woman in front of him couldn't have much experience with their bank and wouldn't know their rules, perhaps she thought other bank cards could also be used here, he gazed at her a little bit lost of words
"No!" Camryn replied shaking her head, the woman she's accidentally hit with the door couldn't help but giggle when she heard her honest reply, she wasn't worth anymore of attention
"Wait! you don't have a card and you dare step into this place"? she asked looking at Camryn with disdain in her eyes "what do you take First Republic Bank for? a play ground"? she asked further glaring at Camryn who said not but stare back at her
"Let's go" her father said walking up to them, still arranging the documents he was carrying
"My dad and I are leaving" the woman shoke Joseph's hand and then looked over at Camryn "Mr Joseph having someone like this around could damage your banks reputation and upset your costumers, please look into it and I hope this would not happen again" with that the young woman took her father's arm and opened the door
"Take care Mr Smith" Joseph said and followed the man and his daughter a few steps, watching as they got into the car and left, turning around he walked back inside having made up his mind to encourage Camryn to leave as soon as possible, but there was no one standing were Camryn had been "oh where has she gone" Joseph wondered, was it possible that the kid had been embarrassed and quietly sneaked away, he felt relieved with the thought, then just as he was about to head back to work, he caught a glimpse of someone with the corner of his eyes "there's the brat, no wonder, I didn't see her at first" he muttered to himself, Camryn had already reached the entrance to the VIP lounge and the pillar had blocked his view of her, the VIP room was only for high status customers, who are worth at least forty million dollars and this young lady had admitted that she didn't even have card, if he let her get through, he would be in a lot of trouble with his boss "stop! don't move!" Joseph yelled feeling desperate, the other customers all turned around and looked at him, obviously annoyed by his shouting, he could only smile apologetically as he walked quickly after Camryn but she already walked through the door to the lounge, opened the door to the VIP room and stepped inside.
