"Multiple... Holy Grails..."
Mash could no longer speak.
This was probably a situation she had never considered.
But it was highly likely.
From what Rozen had seen of the Knights of the Round Table, aside from Aggravain, all of the others—Gawain, Tristan, or Mordred—had received the "blessing" of the Holy Grail which had drastically increased their power.
Not only had their personal strength been enhanced, but they had been given different characteristics as well. Compared to their summoned state, their strength was far beyond ordinary.
Take Gawain, for instance. At noon, he could exert three times his normal strength, earning him the title of the strongest knight of the Round Table. Even King Arthur admired him for his abilities. However, he still had weaknesses, such as the inability to utilize the Holy Numbers effect outside of his six hours of strength at noon.
The blessing of the saints gave Gawain six hours of invincibility a day. However, since a full day lasts twenty-four hours, there were still gaps in his power, and he was not as formidable during other times. He still had weaknesses.
Now, a mysterious "blessing" allowed Gawain to summon the midday sun anytime and enhanced the power of the Holy Numbers to the point of multiplying his strength by six. This kind of power was enough to make him the strongest servant Rozen had ever seen, even stronger than Scáthach and Karna.
Tristan and Mordred were the same, each having received different "blessings" that enhanced their skills and made them exceptionally powerful. Even though they weren't as strong as Gawain, they were still formidable, and their newfound strength was no small feat.
Originally, Gawain, Tristan, and Mordred were already top-tier servants. Now, having been drastically enhanced, their strength was beyond reason, which was a huge deviation from normal.
Rozen didn't believe that just one Holy Grail could grant such power.
Thus, Rozen was certain that the Lion King either had unknown powers or possessed multiple Holy Grails as tools.
Currently, due to legends, Rozen leaned more toward the latter, suspecting that the Lion King likely had the Holy Grail of the Knight of the Holy Grail and had taken the singular Holy Grail from the Black Knight six months ago. Using both Holy Grails as mediums, she granted the Round Table knights extraordinary powers.
Moreover, it was even possible that the Lion King had more than two Holy Grails.
"The Round Table knights having this level of power couldn't have come easily. It's highly likely that the Lion King possesses more than one Holy Grail and has used them to elevate the Round Table knights' spirit foundations, allowing them to withstand the immense power bestowed by the 'blessing.'"
Rozen boldly speculated.
"Therefore, I believe the Lion King must have at least three Holy Grails."
Upon saying this, even Rozen couldn't help but be taken aback.
After all, the Holy Grail was an object sought after by many. Countless Masters and Servants had lost their lives trying to obtain it in the Holy Grail War, and many had gone mad in pursuit of it. Yet, in this singularity, there were three of them. How could that not be astonishing?
But when you really thought about it, the Holy Grail was just an incredibly precious magical resource. As long as one had the right conditions, even beings at the peak of the mystical world could create one.
For example, Altera had used the magic reactor facility Rozen had operated for over a year to create a Holy Grail.
Also, the Mage King Solomon had created seven Holy Grails and sent them to various ages.
Even in the remote city of Fuyuki, after the Holy Grail War, the magical families had managed to summon the Holy Grail after years of effort.
This showed that although the Holy Grail was rare, it wasn't completely unattainable.
Since the Lion King had descended half a year ago, it wasn't strange for her to have obtained the Holy Grail during her journey.
With this in mind...
"Could it be that King Arthur's deification was caused by the Holy Grail?"
This was highly likely.
With the power of the Holy Grail, creating a god wasn't impossible, although it would require strict conditions.
After all, gods were natural spirits, even said to be a part of the world itself, and ascending to godhood was no simple feat.
The question was, why would King Arthur seek deification and become the Lion King?
Rozen had a feeling that perhaps the secret behind this was the key to everything.
To uncover the secret, staying in the Holy City temporarily didn't seem like a bad idea.
Though infiltrating the enemy's stronghold was undoubtedly dangerous, it could also be a good strategy.
At least, for now, Rozen didn't want to make an enemy of the Lion King.
Otherwise, with the Lion King's divine power and the multiple Holy Grails supporting her, Rozen would need to use all his strength to stand a chance.
"We may find it difficult to leave the Holy City for a while."
Rozen said to Mash.
"Understood, Senpai."
Mash nodded solemnly, and she couldn't help but feel a little relieved.
However, she was puzzled.
(Why do I feel relieved when Senpai isn't going to oppose the Lion King and the Round Table?)
It was an inexplicable emotion.
Mash grew troubled.
Maybe, now wasn't the time to worry about other things.
If she didn't resolve the anomaly within herself, and ended up hindering Rozen, she'd regret it to her dying day.
(I must work hard.)
Mash quietly made a resolution.
Thus, Rozen and Mash decided to stay in the Holy City for the time being.
Meanwhile, Chaldea would take this opportunity to conduct a broad scan and analysis of the Holy City, hoping to uncover what was hidden within.
This was probably Rozen's first such experience.
In the past, when arriving at a singularity, Rozen was always greeted by battles immediately. Never before had he entered a singularity and found nothing but quiet, peaceful living in what could only be described as an ideal world.
From this point of view, it seemed that this singularity was considered special by Chaldea.
However, this wasn't necessarily a good sign.
After all, the calm before the storm is always ominous.
