Chapter 1891 - -1850- Arthur Pendragon

"————"

A heavy silence filled the air.

A sacred, solemn hall resembling a temple appeared before Rozen's eyes, welcoming his gaze.

Rozen cast his eyes into the audience chamber.

In the next moment, Rozen saw it.

He saw three knights present in the chamber.

"So, you've come?"

The cold, iron knight cast a frigid gaze in this direction.

"It seems you've fulfilled your duty, Sir Gawain."

The elegant, red-haired knight closed his eyes and smiled faintly.

"Let's see what kind of figure has earned the king's attention!"

The wild and rebellious knight grinned fiercely.

These were the three knights who had appeared in the chamber.

"They are..."

Mash's eyes trembled.

"..."

Rozen's pupils also narrowed slightly.

From these three knights, Rozen could sense extraordinary mana and auras.

Although slightly weaker than Gawain's, their mana and presence were impressive nonetheless. The cold, iron knight's aura was particularly weak—so much so that it might even fall below that of an ordinary Servant—but the other two were different.

The elegant, red-haired knight was reserved yet exuded an inexplicable sense of danger.

The wild and rebellious knight was aggressive and untamed, with an aura that matched his unrestrained demeanor.

"Allow me to introduce them to you," Gawain offered with a tone of responsibility.

"This is Sir Tristan."

Gawain gestured toward the elegant, red-haired knight.

Tristan.

A knight of the Round Table from Arthurian legend, renowned for his mastery of both sword and bow. His swordsmanship was exceptional, but his archery skills were equally celebrated. If summoned as a Servant, both Saber and Archer classes would suit him perfectly.

His strength was undeniable, though not quite reaching the legendary levels of Sir Lancelot of the Lake or Sir Gawain, the Knight of the Sun.

However, in terms of fame, he was their equal. His tragic love story with Isolde was one of the most famous tales in Europe, earning him the nickname "The Grieving Knight" due to the many misfortunes that befell him.

"And this is Sir Agravain."

Gawain turned toward the cold, iron knight.

Agravain.

Another knight of the Round Table from Arthurian legend, and the son of Arthur's sister, Morgan. Originally sent by the scheming Morgan to infiltrate and undermine the Round Table, Agravain instead became devoted to the continuation of Britain, serving as one of Arthur's closest advisors.

While not a remarkable warrior, Agravain excelled in internal affairs and was a master interrogator, feared for his ability to make even a hippopotamus beg for mercy. Known as "Iron Agravain," he was a cold, emotionless figure who could send soldiers to their deaths without hesitation, though he held himself to equally high standards of discipline.

Rarely participating in battle, he would always return unscathed when he did, earning a reputation as an indispensable cornerstone of the Round Table. Despite being disliked by most other knights, many believed the Round Table only began to decline after Agravain's death.

"And this..."

Gawain then turned to the wild and rebellious knight, pausing briefly before continuing in a neutral tone.

"This is Sir Mordred."

At these words, Mash was visibly startled.

"She... she's Mordred?"

Mash looked at Mordred with astonishment.

Mordred.

Another knight of the Round Table, Mordred was both Arthur's nephew and illegitimate child.

Born from a magical experiment conducted by Morgan, who used King Arthur's genetic material to create a homunculus, Mordred was Arthur's true heir by blood. She joined the Round Table as part of Morgan's scheme to usurp the throne, yet was never recognized by King Arthur.

Mash's shock was understandable. This rebellious knight was infamous for her refusal to accept Arthur's denial of her lineage, ultimately leading to the collapse of Britain. She was the one who struck the fatal blow against King Arthur during their final confrontation at Camlann Hill.

Although Arthur also dealt a mortal wound to Mordred with the Holy Lance, her blow left Arthur mortally weakened, leading to his eventual demise after returning the Holy Sword to the Lady of the Lake in the presence of his last surviving knight.

In other words, this rebellious knight was both the one who destroyed Britain and the one who killed King Arthur. Seeing her now standing among the knights of the Round Table would naturally shock Mash.

Rozen, however, displayed no surprise.

He had already noticed that the other knights were keeping a noticeable distance from Mordred. Even now, they stood silently, showing no inclination to acknowledge her.

The knights of the Round Table evidently still held a deep disdain for Mordred, only tolerating her presence due to the command of their king.

Within the chamber, a total of three knights of the Round Table had appeared.

Including Gawain, there were now four knights present.

And Gawain had more to say.

"One more knight of the Round Table is currently absent from the Holy City due to being on a mission and was unable to arrive in time. I ask for your understanding."

With these words, it was confirmed that five knights of the Round Table were present in this Singularity.

"Five... knights of the Round Table...?"

Mash murmured in disbelief.

The reason for her reaction was simple: it was unusual for so many knights of the Round Table to manifest at once.

The Round Table only had thirteen members in total, representing a minuscule fraction of Heroic Spirits. For five of them to appear simultaneously was astonishing.

However, on further thought, perhaps it wasn't so surprising after all.

There was only one figure capable of commanding such loyalty from so many knights of the Round Table.

"The only one who could compel this many knights to serve willingly as their king..."

Mash's thoughts were visibly shaken.

And it wasn't just Mash—through the communicator, the suppressed voices of the Chaldea staff could be heard.

The voices carried shock, disbelief, and a heavy tension.

Then—

"The Master of Chaldea, who has repaired five Singularities, fought against the Incineration of Humanity, and opposed the King of Magic."

A regal voice echoed throughout the hall.

"I have been waiting for you."

As these words resonated, the king appeared.

A holy, immaculate figure.

An incomparably dignified presence.

Eyes that gleamed like stars gazed down imperiously.

Without a sound, she appeared, standing before the throne.

Rozen's eyes gleamed at the sight of this figure.

Mash, meanwhile, whispered softly.

"King Arthur..."

The one who appeared was none other than the legendary King of Britain.

Arthur Pendragon.
