Chapter 2064 - -2023- Chaos

Chaos.

Panic.

Screams.

Roars.

Before anyone realized it, the entirety of Tokyo had already been engulfed by these things, turning into a true demonic domain.

Countless buildings had been destroyed.

The number of collapsed skyscrapers was beyond counting.

Even the branches of the Exorcism Bureau and the facilities of the Onmyo Agency had been systematically wiped out, reduced to ruins and burning in a sea of fire.

Under such circumstances, even the headquarters of the Onmyo Agency and the Exorcism Bureau had suffered unprecedented attacks, leaving them in a tragic state.

The grand barrier formation covering all of Tokyo had disappeared.

There was no helping it.

Faced with an unprecedented disaster, the exorcists of the Exorcism Bureau no longer had the luxury of performing rituals to activate the barrier formation.

To prevent the total collapse of the Exorcism Bureau headquarters, Miyachi Iwao and Yuge Mari could no longer sit still. They each led their squads into battle.

But the results were not promising.

Even with Miyachi Iwao present, this battle was by no means easy.

Because Miyachi Iwao had already been entangled by a demon king carrying a sake gourd, barely able to hold his ground.

The same situation unfolded in the Onmyo Agency.

No—one could even say the Onmyo Agency's situation was worse than the Exorcism Bureau's.

At the very least, the Exorcism Bureau had Miyachi Iwao and Yuge Mari, but all the National First-Class Onmyoji of the Onmyo Agency had already been deployed. Even Kurahashi Genji himself could no longer remain seated, forced to take the field, yet he, too, was being relentlessly hounded by an overwhelmingly beautiful fox woman with nine tails, escaping death by mere inches multiple times.

At this moment, both Kurahashi Genji and Miyachi Iwao were filled with shock.

"I can't believe something like this is happening...!"

At the Exorcism Bureau headquarters, Miyachi Iwao chanted the Fire Realm Incantation, invoking flames as if they were the eight great acolytes of the Fudo Myo-o, surging forward to attack the enemy.

"Is that all you've got?"

The youth carrying a sake gourd sneered at Miyachi Iwao, waving his hand, causing an infinite surge of miasma to explode forth, clashing with the oncoming flames.

"This is a disaster... I never imagined Tsuchimikado Akikan had such power...!"

At the main gate of the Onmyo Agency, Kurahashi Genji commanded two lion-like Shikigami—one black, one white—fending off the advancing enemy.

"My master's power is not something a man like you can fathom. You'd best surrender and accept your fate."

The breathtaking fox woman with nine tails wore a soul-stealing smile, her body enveloped in surging blue foxfire. With a casual wave of her delicate hand, the flames erupted like a raging tidal wave.

Both the youth with the sake gourd and the nine-tailed fox woman were legendary existences.

The Demon King of Mount Ooe—Shuten Doji.

The White-Faced, Golden-Furred Nine-Tailed Fox—Tamamo-no-Mae.

Two of the Three Great Yokai had arrived, each leading an army of demons and spirits to assault the Exorcism Bureau and the Onmyo Agency.

Naturally, the last of the Three Great Yokai had also appeared.

"Destroy it all! Bring victory to our master!"

A towering figure with a large red nose, wielding a war fan, dressed in a samurai's armor from a bygone era, with a sword at his waist, traditional tall wooden sandals on his feet, and a straw cape draped over his back—an embodiment of arrogance—soared above Tokyo, issuing orders to all his fellow Tengu.

He was the Great Tengu, said to be the transformed spirit of Emperor Sutoku himself.

The Three Great Yokai had all gathered in Tokyo, commanding countless demons, ghosts, and malevolent spirits, mercilessly ravaging the city.

This forced many who had been lurking in the shadows to step forward, unable to remain passive.

"Hey, hey, hey! What the hell is going on here?"

In a corner of a warehouse district, Ato Touji fought off approaching undead spirits with talismans, his face full of shock.

"It looks like something unimaginable is happening, something we weren't aware of."

A young girl, dressed in an Onmyo Academy uniform, formed hand seals as she activated jujutsu to ward off the encroaching spirits.

"Is it just my imagination, or do I feel a lot of familiar presences that shouldn't be here?"

A one-armed, muscular man smashed apart a foggy specter with a single punch, his face grim as he tried to make sense of the situation.

Ahead of them, a boy in a jet-black coat scanned the surroundings, his eyes gleaming with intelligence.

"Let's go meet an old friend."

With that order, the group began to push forward, heading into the heart of Tokyo.

A similar scene was unfolding elsewhere.

"This must be a joke, right? How could something like this happen?!"

The speaker was a tall woman—at least 180 centimeters—slender with long limbs, but possessing an exceptional bust and hips, her waist appearing unnaturally slim. She wore a cropped spaghetti-strap tank top, with a wine-red jacket draped over her shoulders, and shorts that couldn't possibly be any shorter. Her long legs were accentuated by knee-high boots decorated with metal studs. Her naturally wavy hair was tied in a ponytail, while oversized sunglasses nearly covered half her face, and deep red lipstick added to her striking appearance.

Despite her sultry looks, she punched an oncoming Water Tiger into the air with brute force.

"How should I know?! I want to ask the same thing!"

Responding to the woman's complaint was a short, absurdly fat man, resembling a human Daruma doll. He had dreadlocks, wore a single-lens sunglass, sported a nose ring, and had a thick chain around his neck. His outfit screamed hip-hop fashion—an oversized dark blue jacket over baggy jeans, finished with basketball sneakers.

The man likewise punched away a giant rolling wheel with a bald man's face, demonstrating sheer raw power.

Behind them, an elderly man with an eerily stiff face, wearing blood-red sunglasses and leaning on a cane, resembled a living corpse.

Rather than being surprised by the myriad of Yokai infesting the city, the old man seemed elated.

"Excellent, excellent! This reminds me of the era when I was alive—where gods and demons roamed freely, and Yokai wreaked havoc. Now this is what I call true 'Jujutsu'!"

The old man let out a dry, cackling laugh.

"Tsuchimikado Akikan, what an extraordinary man. Even Abe no Seimei never dared to claim he could command a true Hyakki Yagyo, yet he has resurrected a genuine Night Parade of One Hundred Demons. How marvelous, how marvelous!"

With that, the old man issued a command to the two warriors before him.

"Let's go, Gozu, Mezu! If there was ever a time to make an appearance, it is now!"

Upon hearing this, the two—one male, one female—revealed excited expressions.

"Yes, Doman-sama!"

With that, the group began their advance.

Meanwhile, in another street, two girls were sprinting.

"Hurry up, Suzuka!"

"I know, stop nagging me!"

Even as they bickered, their speed did not slow as they rushed forward.
