Alex sat in the classroom as a teacher was giving them a lesson. He glanced to his side to see his girl of dreams listening and watching the teacher with a concentrated look on her face.
She was looking extra beautiful today, her red hair tied in a single ponytail. She wore a white top and blue jeans. A simple outfit but it made Lilly look gorgeous or maybe he just found her attractive, whatever she wore, even in rags.
He loved her, that much was sure. And he wanted to turn their friendship into more. But the fear of being rejected held him back.
And now that he was about to go headfirst into a fight while still being a teenager, it was enough of a reason to spur him to at least try once.
Tomorrow was the day, they would attack Ken's base which was in the Cyron city and Alex wanted to confess his feelings to Lilly before that as there wasn't a guarantee that he might come back alive.
