Holding to the largest stone she could find, Elle raised her hand above her head, her elbows slashing downward as she smashed the stone to the egg on the ground. This should have been enough to destroy the egg but when she looked downward to the egg, not even a single crack had appeared. She frowned, realizing that there was really something she had to do in order to break this egg. But what?
She was too far to communicate to Magnus or to hear his voice but she could see from where she had hide that Magnus was fending himself off pretty well against the demons. She knew how difficult it was to fight against Glasya and Magnus was perhaps the only person who could stand feet to feet against the demoness. Now Glasya completely had her sight on Magnus which should buy her enough time to break this egg.
Yet no matter what she tried, this egg wouldn't break.
