Thankfully Magnus was unconscious. She wanted to spare him from the misery of watching her dying in front of his eyes. As much as she knew Magnus would be broken after her leaving, she also believe he would be fine. He is strong and he would soon find a new reason to live his life. She didn't want to curse him with loneliness and only wish that after she was gone there would be others who would bring him out from his darkness.
