Magnus had kept his anger to himself throughout their journey inside the Dragon Kingdom. His fury only grew as he noticed the amount of power that the people in this Kingdom had held yet like a cowardly flock of lambs, they had hidden themselves in the depth of the woods surrounded by a barrier. They had forced upon his father a duty, making him believe that he is the Black Dragon who would be balancing the justice between humans and all the nightly creatures at the cost of his own life.

All this time, they hadn't even uttered a word of gratefulness toward him or his own family, or to his mother. No offer of help had been made, no grave was made to honor his parents, and only one single portrait of his father was hung on the castle's entrance, one that was so old and unimpressive. Not that any of those would have eased his anger, but god knows how clever the Kingdom was in making him even angrier.
