"SERVIUS!" Someone had rushed to protecting him. By the time Servius had woken up, he saw his subordinate with his skin burning from the fire that the Saintess had directed toward them. Although it was brief, they knew that the Saintess's power had grown to a much more frightening level.
Servius grunted, "THE LORD!" He raised his voice even though the burns he suffered was enough to put him to lose his consciousness and remain on the edge of death and living.
Maximus pushed him to be in place. He also suffered burns, in fact not only him but a few others subordinate who had tried saving Servius as they had came too late to the forest. They shook his head and Maximus was the first to declare, "His Majesty's son had arrived on the scene. He drove the Saintess back."
"But," Servius could only lay down on the wooden floor along with the other wounded nightly creatures who swore to serve the Black Dragon.
They stared blankly at Servius who was there.
