For a moment it was as though the entire world had stopped while Estelle touched the sides of her cheeks, still shocked and surprised, trying to convince what she had seen herself was merely a dream. As she wiped the sweats behind her back, Elle felt a shudder and turned her eyes to look at the person who was sitting on her couch.
Her eyes trembled for a moment until she realized it was Magnus.
Magnus looked back at her and his eyes softened, "I was wondering why you were groaning at night. I'm sorry if I came in suddenly."
Elle shook her head as she touched the side of her face, "It's alright. I don't usually dream such a nightmare."
"What did you dream of?" Magnus asked and she furrowed her eyebrows slightly.
"A monster," she responded as that was what she had remembered seeing. "It was an odd dream."
