When she turned her head away, she can hear a small scoff coming from Roland's side. When she glanced side ways towards him, her eyes saw a beaming smile from Roland who had begun to laugh as if he had just heard the funniest joke he had ever heard in so many years. He then turned to her and grinned, "I'm also glad that Magnus didn't choose for someone too dumb."
Elle doubted the words Roland said was a praise but accept it regardless as the man walked off before holding Magnus's shoulder with a more sincere smile. Although she hadn't assessed their relationship for so long, she could tell that Roland deeply admire Magnus. More than a brother, it was as though Roland's idol and the person he wished to become was Magnus. She didn't blame him for feeling so as there was no way someone beside Magnus wouldn't fall into admiring such a free and confident spirit as he is.
