Inside the locket was a small black scale in a glossy resin that made it glistened every time it hits the light, letting out the beautiful golden shine. Her eyes sparkled as she realized this was a gift. She slowly rushed to stand and made her way outside the bathroom, "The necklace," she yelled happily and saw Magnus brushing his hand from outside the slightly opened door as if saying that it was not such a big deal.
"That is made of the primary scale near my neck in my dragon form," Magnus said to her with a softer smile. "There is only a few of it and if I pull out too many it would make my dragon form easier to pierce."
Elle looked at how the dragon scale did look a bit shiny like a rainbow when she lifted it to the light.
"Be careful with it," Magnus said to her as she held it closer to her chest.
"Of course I will," she happily tuned, never ever having such a gift solely for her, she was determined to protect it to her neck no matter what happened.
