Elle woke up with her whole body aching in pain. Her eyes softened to open and she stared at the ceiling for a while before finally pushing herself to sit upward on the bed. She looked around, feeling rather relaxed in the castle as there wasn't as many people around her as it was in the mansion. Usually, most of of the time Madam Val would be the first to be inside her room, reminding her of her actions as she slept late and whatnots as she should be a perfect lady despite the fact that she had never learned any lessons of etiquette since she was a child.
This morning that was so peaceful was surprisingly what she needed. It felt as if she had been trapped under the ground and finally set her eyes on the sun.
Elle then moved her fingers, wondering why her right hand was warmer than the other as if she had been enveloped in warmth.
