Almost all nobles around Raindawn had been invited to the ball. The party was one of the greatest in decades and most people who wanted to impress the new Lord brought gifts and looked at best they could ever be to not offend the Lord's eyes. They have heard how fickle Magnus could be and angering him was far from their plan.
Lady Mavis walked down the carriage with a harrumphed. She glared at her human maid who had mistakenly pulled her hair earlier as she got down the carriage, annoying her to the point she wanted to kill the human maid but alas with the time running out and she couldn't make a terrible first impression in the ball. The only thing she could do was glare.
