Magnus's curiosity now was piqued. He wondered what his kitty cat was doing. She seemed rather stressed out the last time they had talked as she mentioned how she couldn't bring herself to fully trust her father. He could also tell there was something odd with Count Arthur. The man was indeed Elle's father but there was something about him that was very possessive toward Elle. He knew this as he wasn't as protective as to his second daughter who he had around him for longer time. He had also heard the unrest in Vernon's Household as the lady of the house disagree with Estelle's appearance in the mansion. Even though there is no denying that Elle is Count Arthur's daughter, Lady Gladys knows nothing about the girl and they had no blood relation for Lady Gladys to come and look at Elle as her own daughter.
